Failed Sensor
Verify all 3 sensor wires are installed correctly. Replace sensor if problem
persists by contacting oce.
Make sure to set PTS before nishing installation!
**Important Info**
1. After 1
st
fail: 5 beeps then immediately attempts to retract again.
2. After 2
nd
fail: 5 beeps with pause in-between for 30 seconds then device
attempts to retract again.
3. After 3
rd
fail: 5 beeps every 7 minutes, device will not attempt to retract.
To Reset: Depress bar for 5 seconds at any time.
Setting PTS
Step 1
Select your preferred torque mode (ships in standard torque) Press the device push
pad to the desired setting. (Recommend to fully depress and release 5%, giving the
device room for changing door conditions.)
Step 2
While depressing the push pad, apply power. (i.e. presenting the credential to the reader).
Step 3
Continue to keep pad depressed, the device will beep 6 times. After the beeps have
stopped, release the pad and now the adjustment is complete. If not to your liking
repeat the 3 steps.
Step 4
Once you found the correct location, turn PTS switch to OFF position.
• Average Latch Retraction Current: 2 Amp
• Average Holding Current: 250 mA

STEP 1 - Disassemble Exit Device
Remove (4) screws on head cover

Remove (2) mounting brackets & (2) screws with
5/16” nutdriver.

Slide off housing from baserail assembly.

Remove push pad by pulling forward & then
upwards.

Remove both screws and skip to Step 3

Utalizing a hmmer and pin punch or drill & 3/16” drill bit remove the (2) rivets.
Depress the baserail’s activating brackets.
A.
Grabbing the motor kit with the attaching hooks facing down move it towards the back activat-
ing bracket at 90°. Grab onto the bottom pin and begin to bring the back of the motor down.

STEP 3- Installing Kit

Keep depressed & nd the bottom roll pin towards
the bottom of the back activating bracket.

Note: if having difculty hooking onto the pin make sure it is centered, if not re-center pin before attaching kit.

Continue bringing the motor down until
it’s to the back of the baserail.

Slide motor bracket underneath baserail into the
exsisting groves. Pull motor back if neccessaery to
clear the back of the baserail
Once the kit lines up with the screw holes install
(2) Phillips screws provided using a magnetic tip
screw driver.
Next, plug in the push & go connector into the

Connect your VD 8’ lead (CAT or VD retrot) or you can
remove the VD connector to hardwire- take stripped
wire end and push into the push & go connector
Hook up to power & test motor functions before
nishing the re-assembly.

Replace head cover & re-install (4) screws.

pushing down then back towards end of device

Slide baseplate back into housing being careful of
pinching motor/REX wires.

Replace front mounting bracket.
