LCD display provides the visual and interactive screens.
UP/ON button increases data values, moves the navigation pointer
upward, and selects or removes text choices.
DOWN/OFF button decreases data values, moves the
navigation pointer downward, and selects or removes text choices.
ENTER button selects indicated menu items, saves data to memory,
or scrolls through data screens four lines at a time.
NEXT button moves cursor to the right or to a sequential data field.
PREV button moves cursor to the left, to a previous data field, or to
the navigation pointer.
MENU button displays the Menu screen and refreshes a previously
viewed screen.
Status Lights indicate power service, active communication,
and error.

Setting Time & Date
From the Run screen, press MENU.
Use the UP or DOWN buttons to scroll to "Set Time/Date" field.
Press ENTER to access "Time & Date"screen.
Use UP or DOWN to set the hour.
Press NEXT to input the minutes. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set
the minutes.
Press NEXT to advance to "Date" field. Use the UP or DOWN
buttons to set the month.
Press NEXT and use the UP or DOWN to set the day of the month.
Press NEXT and use the UP or DOWN to set the year.
Press ENTER. The clock re-initializes.

Setting Master Schedules
IMPORTANT: Record your schedule types and operation times on the
“Scheduling Worksheet” from the SC-100 user manual before
programming the clock.
General Note: To enter a completely new clock schedule, the user may
follow each of this guide’s outlined steps. Or, to modify a particular
schedule attribute, reference the specific topic and follow the commands.
(For example, to set or access a schedule solely by number, the user
would refer to Step 2 of this section and follow its instructions.)
Step 1: Accessing the Clock Schedules Screen
From the run screen, press MENU to access the main menu options.
(See “Main Menu” display on p. 4.)

Use the UP or DOWN buttons to scroll to "Edit Schedules" field.
Press ENTER to display the clock schedule screen and proceed
to Step 2.

Step 2: Setting or Referencing a
Schedule by Number (Sch#:)
Press NEXT to enter a value for the
"Sch#" field. (Keying DOWN prior to
pressing NEXT bypasses this criteria.
Skip to Step 3.)
Use the UP or DOWN buttons to
increase or decrease the schedule
reference number respectively.
Press NEXT to proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Choosing a Schedule Type (Type:)
A schedule type determines the action a scheduled event will execute.
(See “Event Actions.”)
Use the UP or DOWN buttons to scroll through the pre-set choices.
Press NEXT to access "Time" field.
Event Actions:
Unused- Inactive schedule
Time On- Turns channel on
Time Off- Turns channel off
Time On/Dawn- Turns channel on at scheduled time and off at dawn
Dusk/TmOf- Turns channel on at dusk and off at scheduled time
Dusk/Dawn- Turns channel on at dusk and off at dawn
Stop Rept- Stops a repeating schedule for the channel
Step 4: Scheduling Daily Event-Occurrence (Time:)
Enter the hour component for standard time. Use the UP or DOWN
buttons to progress or regress the ‘hour respectively.
Press NEXT to adjust the minutes. UP increases the minutes and DOWN
decreases the minutes.
Press NEXT and go to Step 5.
Step 5: Designating a Channel (Chnl:)
Use the UP or DOWN buttons to designate a channel.
Press NEXT and go to Step 6.
Step 6: Scheduling Weekly Event-Occurrence
(Day:SMTWTFS 123)
Note: Holiday schedules precede non-holiday schedules in the system’s
order of execution and are represented by H1, H2, and H3. The numerals,
(1, 2, and 3) correspond respectively to H1, H2, and H3 on the clock
display.
Use the NEXT or PREV. buttons to locate the desired day of the week
or holiday.
Press the UP button to select a day; an asterisk denotes a selection. To
erase an asterisk, press UP. (Use the UP button to both, mark
and erase.)
Repeat this location and selection process until all of the desired days of
the week and holidays are chosen.
• Use NEXT to access the “Duratn” field. Execute Step
7.

Step 7: Targeting Function-Specific Attributes
This step’s instructions are dependent on the function chosen in the "Type"
field. (See Step 3.)
If the "Type" selection contains the words, "Dusk" or "Dawn," then
proceed to Step 8A.
If the "Type" selection is either, "Time On" or "Time Off," go to Step 8B.
If the "Type" selection is "Stop Repeat," then skip to Step 9.

Step 8A: Dusk or Dawn Sequences (TmOn/Dawn),
(Dusk/TmOff), (Dusk/Dawn)
Use the DOWN or UP buttons to adjust the offset value. A
positive value (+) increases the minutes before an event occurs after
dusk or dawn. A negative value (-) increases the minutes before an event
occurs prior to dusk or dawn.
• Press NEXT.
For "Dusk/Dawn" types perform the additional steps in 8A1.
(“Dusk/Dawn” types require both, DawnOffset and DuskOffset.)
Otherwise, go to Step 9.

Step 8B: Setting Duration (Duratn:0:00:00)
The duration time setting is used to execute a scheduled event for a
specific amount of time i.e. turn channel ‘1’ on for five seconds.
Note: Leave setting to 0:00:00 when the repeat feature is not in use.
Use the NEXT or PREV. buttons to navigate through the hours,
minutes, and seconds sections of the "Duration" field.
• Press UP to increase a value or DOWN to decrease a value.
• Press NEXT and proceed to Step 8B1.
Step 8B1: The Repeat Feature (Repeat:0:00)
• Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the number of hours.
• Press NEXT and use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the minutes.
• Press NEXT to exit and proceed to Step 9.
Step 9: Applying the Temporary Feature (Temporary:)
• Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ by pressing UP; the default setting is ‘No.’
• Press NEXT and go to Step 10.
Step 10: Saving the Schedule
• Press ENTER to save the schedule.
Setting Holiday Dates
Master schedules with a selected holiday type, execute according to
designated holiday dates. A normal day of the week schedule does not
execute if it shares the same execution date as a holiday schedule.

the main menu options.
• Use the UP or DOWN buttons to scroll to
"Edit Holidays" field.
• Press ENTER to display the "Edit Holidays"
screen.

Step 3: Choosing a Holiday Type (Type:)
The SC-100 clock can commit three holiday types (H1, H2, and H3) to its
memory. These three holiday types classify holiday schedules. Holiday
schedules are executed according to their holiday type classification. Most
frequently, a holiday type is assigned by the user for the collective
execution of holiday schedules that constitute the differing operational
needs of a facility i.e. facility closed for a day, facility closed for certain
hours of the day, or facility closed for multiple days, etc.
• Use the UP and DOWN buttons to scroll through the three holiday
types, (H1, H2, H3).
• Press NEXT and go to Step 4.

Week-Day-Month
This format assigns a date through
the selection of a particular day of
a week (S, M,T, W, T, F,S) from a
certain week (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th) of
a specific month.

The "MM" parameter should blink.
• Choose an appropriate category (A, B, or C).
A. Assigning Perpetual Start Date
(MM/DD/ALL) format
Start date may follow the format, (MM/DD/ALL),
where “MM” is month (1-12), "DD" is day (1-31),
and "ALL" is for year (i.e., 2005).
• Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set
the month of the year, (1-12).
• Press NEXT and use the UP or DOWN
buttons to set the day of the month, (1-31).
• Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the
month of the year, (1-12).
• Press NEXT and use the UP or DOWN
buttons to set the day of the month, (1-31).
• Press NEXT and use the UP or DOWN
buttons to set the year. Or, select “All” to assign the present year and
each year thereafter.
• Press DOWN at “MM”.
• Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the ranking, (1st, 2nd,
3rd, 4th, Lst). ("Lst" signifies the last week in a month.)
• Press NEXT and use the UP or DOWN buttons to set a day of
the week.
• Press NEXT and use the UP or DOWN buttons to
set the month.
• Press NEXT. Go to Step 5.
C. Assigning Easter as the Start Date
Easter’s date is internally calculated by the clock.
• Press DOWN at "MM.”
• Use the DOWN button to set "EASTER.” (Press
DOWN six times.)
• Press NEXT to confirm the selection. Go to Step 5.
Step 5: Entering the Duration (# of Days)
The duration sets the number of days a holiday schedule will extend
from its start date.
Example: If a start date is 12/20/2000 and the value in the "# of Days"
field is ‘6,’ then the holiday’s duration extends from 12/20/2000
through 12/25/2000.
• Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the duration in days (1-20).
• Press NEXT.
Step 6: Saving the Holiday Data
• Press ENTER. The system saves the holiday schedule to its memory. A
new holiday screen appears.
• To enter another holiday, return to Step 1. Or, press MENU to return to the
"Menu Screen.”
