Frick SuperCoalescer Installation guide

  • Hello, I'm a chat assistant and I've reviewed the Frick Installation Bulletin for the SuperCoalescer elements (models 531B0099H01, 531B0099H02, and 531B0099H03). This document outlines the installation process, noting the importance of correct orientation with the 'DRAIN DOWN' tag, and proper mounting torque. I am ready to answer your questions about these high-efficiency coalescer elements and their features.
  • What is the correct orientation for the coalescing element during installation?
What is the required mounting torque for the coalescing element?
What happens if the drain position of the coalescing element is incorrect?
The unique design of the patented Frick®
SuperCoalescer™ with EZ-Drain feature and
self-centering notch provides:
20% increase in velocity limit
- Fewer oversized oil separators
- Improved system performance
Reduced pressure drop across the coalescer
element
- Increased compressor efciency with re-
duction in horsepower
Installing the coalescing element
1. Orientate the 531B0099H0_ Coalescing
Element with the DRAIN DOWN tag on the
bottom, at the 6 ’clock position.
