Your multifunction oven allows you to cook dishes requiring the same cooking temperature simultaneously.
Where the dishes do not have the same cooking time, take the dishes out of the oven as and when they are ready.
In oven cooking, each dish retains its personality, with neither odour nor taste being transferred. So these can be
cooked together: fish, meat, vegetables, cakes and pastries. Cakes and pastries should preferably be placed on the upper
shelf levels, above other items to be cooked.
Note: The energy consumption required for the simultaneous cooking of several dishes is less than that required to cook
the same dishes separately.
0
Off
This function allows the natural defrosting of food to be speeded up. It can also be used to cool some dishes which are
eaten cold or lukewarm more easily.
This position is to be used for:
-
Cakes and pastries made with soft pastry so as to retain more smoothness.
-
Tarts and quiches that will be well-browned top and bottom.
-
Gratins that will be perfectly browned and tasty.
Two dishes can be cooked simultaneously by alternating their levels once during cooking.
Pre-heat the oven to the cooking temperature so as to seal the item to be cooked as soon as it is put in the oven.
-
Put it in the oven as soon as the thermostat light goes out.
-
Always use deep dishes and place them on the centre shelf of the oven.
-
Use the two lower shelf levels preferably.
This function is especially recommended for cooking meat that needs sealing (rib roast, cutlets..) but which must stay
juicy.
-
Fish also becomes softer; turn them once while cooking.
- Accessible parts can become hot when the grill is used. Keep children away.
This function lets you grill meat, kebabs and fish of different sizes.
-
Put them on the oven in accordance with the positions indicated in the cooking table and place the multi-purpose
drip tray on the bottom shelf runner to collect the juices if the meat is placed directly on a grid.
- Accessible parts can become hot when the grill is used. Keep children away.
-
Turnspit cooking is very practical and results in tasty poultry and meat, very evenly cooked through.
- Accessible parts can become hot when the grill is used. Keep children away.
Refer to the section on Pyrolytic Cleaning in the separate instructions for use.
To operate the oven:
-
Turn the oven selector knob to the function required.
-
Turn the thermostat control knob to the temperature required.
-
Set the Programmer knob following the instructions given in chapter Programming (Electronic programmer).
