INSTALLATION TIME: 2 hours
CONCRETE REQUIRED: 9.42 cubic feet
NOTE: Concrete must have a minimum rating of 2,500 psi and must be mixed per
manufacturer’s recommendations.

STEP 1
Refer to PLAN VIEW and FOOTING LAYOUT to locate position of camel back climber.
STEP 2
Excavate footings as shown in FOOTING LAYOUT and FOOTING DETAIL. Place a 2” spacer in each
hole.

STEP 3
Select one end post for camel back climber, one camel back top hump and two 3/8”x1-1/4” TORX bolts.
Slide the two pieces fully together, keeping rungs oriented the same way. Drill a 21/64” hole through
the pre-drilled hole in the top hump and into the end post and secure each side with bolt (see Detail A).
Repeat step for other end post and hump.

Detail B
Bottom Hump
STEP 4
Select camel back bottom hump, two in-ground legs and two 3/8”x1-1/4” TORX bolts. Slide leg over stub
of bottom of hump as far as it will go. Drill a 21/64” hole through the pre-drilled hole in the leg and into the
bottom hump. Secure with bolt (see Detail B). Repeat for other leg.
STEP 5
Select camel back bottom hump assembly, four 3/8”x1-1/4” TORX bolts and the end hump assemblies
from Step 3. Join pieces together using the same hardware and procedure from Step 3/Detail A.
STEP 6
Set climber in place in footings. Verify that climber is level, plumb and at correct height. Pour concrete in
footings to correct level. Fill remainder of hole with dirt. Allow concrete to harden for at least 48 hours
before use! Concrete must have a minimum rating of 2,500 psi and must be mixed per manufacturer’s
recommendations.
