The billing for your new Xnity service(s) will begin within 5 days from the date your order for service(s) is placed.
Prior to activation of your new Xnity service(s), please read the Comcast Residential Customer Agreement and
the Comcast Customer Privacy Notice provided in the enclosed Xnity documentation envelope.
If you do not accept the terms of the above agreement and notice or want to cancel your Xnity service(s),
please contact Comcast within 30 days of your receipt of this self-installation kit at 1-800-XFINITY to arrange
for the return of this self-installation kit.
Step 1 Plug in & power up
A Connect the coax cable to the Cable In/RF In
port on your digital adapter and to the cable
wall outlet. Push the connector on to the port,
then turn to engage the threads, and nally nger
tighten the connector.*
B Connect the coax cable to the To TV/RF Out port
on your digital adapter and to the Cable In/RF In
coax port on your TV. Push the connector on to the
port, then turn to engage the threads, and nally
nger tighten the connector.*
C Plug the power cord into your digital adapter.
Plug the other end into an electrical outlet.
* Comcast has recently introduced a new coax connector that reduces noise on the network and improves
signal quality.
Step 2 Activate your service
If you have other Xnity devices to connect, complete those connections now so you can
activate all your devices at once.
A Turn ON your TV. Make sure that your TV is set to the
proper input or channel (3 or 4). Also, make sure that your
Xnity video device is powered on.
B Go to xnity.com/activate.
Note: When using a coax connection to your TV, be sure
that the TV is tuned to Channel 3 or 4. If you do not see
a picture on Channel 3, tune to channel 4 (the TV box
channel output varies by area).
C Follow the on-screen prompts to activate your service.
To program your remote to your TV, refer to the
instructions with your remote.
