Basic usage
Inserting the batteries
Move the position tool to the uppermost section of the Y-axis moving rail. While pressing
in the marked section of the back cover, slide the back cover upwards to remove it. Insert
two AA batteries in the order shown in the fi gure then put the back cover back.

Turning on the screen display
Holding down any position on the position tool screen for one second or longer turns the
screen on.
Turning off the screen display
Turns the display of the position tool screen off.
Measurement
1.
First, press [laser ON / OFF] on the
position tool to turn on laser emissions.

Then, set the laser pointer at the
reference point. Slide the rail to move
the position tool and set the pointer at
the cross at the center of the crank.

With the pointer placed over the
intersection point of the cross, press
the X reset button and Y reset button
to set the reference point to zero.
4.
Move the position tool to the
measuring point and measure the
position. Press at any position you want
to save in order to save the
measurement value. Values of three
positions can be saved.

Change settings
The change settings screen appears. Change the set values using [-] or [+] on the
left or right of each item. Holding down the button continuously switches the
display, and holding down the button longer switches the display quickly.

Power-off display setting
Set the time until the screen display is turned
off when a stand-by state has continued for a
long time.
Adjustment range: 1 min to 10 min

Set the time until the system is powered off
when a stand-by state has continued for a
long time.
Adjustment range: 10 min to 60 min

Return to the previous screen.

Information such as the basic functions of the XY position tool and its usage
appears.
