DANGER
DO NOT SMOKE while using this device. Keep all
matches, lit cigarettes or other sources of ignition out of
the room in which this product is located and away from
where oxygen is being delivered.
NO SMOKING signs should be prominently displayed.
Textiles and other materials that normally would not
burn are easily ignited and burn with great intensity in
oxygen enriched air. Failure to observe this warning can
result in severe fire, property damage and cause physical
injury or death.

Operating Information

concentrator,ALWAYSpushthepowerswitchtotheOff(O)
position,disconnecttheACpowercordandtheinterconnect
hosebetweenthecompressorandconcentrator.Failuretodo
somayresultindamagetotheunitorpersonalinjury.
ChildrenshouldALWAYSbesupervisedaroundthe
HomeFillunit.WhenusedwiththeHomeFilltableorsimilar
elevatedsupportsurfaces,achildcouldpulloveranysuch
tablecausingtheunittofall.Failuretoobservethiswarning

Useextremecarewhenhandlingandfillinganoxygen
cylinder.Fulloxygencylindersareunderpressureandcan

attempttousethecylinder.Turntheflowselectorknobonthe
regulatortoOff.Ifleakagepersists,placethecylinder
outdoorsandnotifyyourHomeHealthCareProvideror
ServiceRepresentativeofthiscondition.
TheHomeFillisequippedwithahighpressurereliefvalveto
ensuretheuserssafety.Whenactivated,thissafetyfeature
willmakeanextremelyloudnoise.Ifthisnoiseoccurs,turn
theunitOffandcontactyourHomeHealthCareProvideror
ServiceRepresentative.

Itsintendedfunctionanduseistosupplypressurizedoxygen
tofillInvacareproprietarygascylindersforambulatoryuse
whilethepatientreceivestherapeuticoxygenfroman
accessoryoxygenconcentrator.TheIOH200gassystemis
designedforusewithanInvacarePlatinumoxygen
concentratorwithanintegralHF2accessoryportthatcan
supplyagasconcentrationgreaterthan90%O

L/min.whilesupplyingapatienttherapyflowrateupto2.5
L/min.forPlatinum5and5L/min.forPlatinum9.
TheHomeFillOxygensystemconsistsofIOH200gas
compressor,connectiontubing,andtheInvacaresupplied
portablegascylinderswiththeintegralflowregulatorand
interlockingfillfitting.
TheIOH200compressorconsistsofamultistagecompressor,
internalreservoir,controlelectronicswithanintegraloxygen
concentrationsensor,interlockingfillfitting,inletfitting,and
drivemotor.Thecompressoroperationiscontrolledbythe
electronicsassembly.Themotor/compressorisallowedtofill
acylinderonlywhentheoxygenconcentrationoftheinletgas
streamisgreaterthan90%.Themotor/compressorfill
operationiscompletedwhenthegasinacylinderreachesthe
maximumfillpressureof2000PSI(13786kPa).
TheIOH200compressorcanfillcylindersforportableuseby
ambulatorypatients.TheInvacaresuppliedportablegas
cylindershaveaninterlockingfillfittingthatmatesonlywith
theInvacareIOH200compressorassembly.Thegascylinder
alsocontainsanintegralflowregulatorwithfixed,selectable
flowsettings.

BeforeoperatingtheHomeFillCompressorforthefirsttime,
completethefollowingchecklist:
Choosealocationforthecompressor .
Transportthecompressortothedesiredlocation.
Connectthepowercordtothecompressor.
Connectthecompressortotheconcentrator.
Choosing a location
Thecompressorshouldbeatleastthreeinchesaw ayfromwalls,
draperiesorfurnituretoensuresufficientairflow.
Avoidplacingthecompressornexttoheaters,radiatorsorhotair
registers.
DONOTuseinacloset.

Performtheprefillinspectiononthecylinder.
Connectthecylindertothecompressor.
PushthecompressorpowerswitchtotheOn()position.
Examinetheindicatorlightsonthecontrolpanel.
Disconnectandremovethefullcylinder.
PushthecompressorpowerswitchtotheOff(O)position.
Iffillinganothercylinder,repeatthischecklist.
