Sprayer Use and Care
When servicing use only identical replacement parts.1.

Use only Recommended Chemicals.7. This sprayer is intended for use only with
commonly available consumer products suitable for home use. Carefully follow
the directions provided with the chemicals for safe operation. Do not spray any
other materials, except water or recommended solvent for cleaning.
Protect yourself from exposure to chemicals.8. When spraying be sure to wear
a mask over your nose and mouth. Wearing rubber gloves is recommended.
Other protective clothing is also recommended.
Do not ingest chemicals.9. Do not smoke, drink or eat when using this sprayer or
while in proximity to chemicals.
Wash up after use.10. After spraying chemicals, thoroughly wash your face and
hands with soap, and rinse out your mouth and nostrils.
Dispose of unused chemicals properly.11. Replace unused chemicals in the
original package, or store in a proper container with contents clearly marked. DO

NOT DUMP unused chemicals on the ground or in the drain. Return unneeded
chemicals to the supplier, or a community disposal service.
Protect the Sprayer from Damage.12. Do not allow the sprayer to be banged
around, crushed or improperly handled or stored.

Steel and Brass. Check the manufacturer’s compatibility list of any material you
want to spray before using that material in this sprayer. Some materials may
damage polypropylene, rubber, aluminum, steel or brass.
WARNING: 15. This sprayer will create a mist or spray of whatever material is being
used. This spray may be breathed, over-sprayed or wind borne onto plants,
animals, property, children or other bystanders. Use precautions to prevent
breathing the sprayed material and to avoid over-spray. Cover plants or materials
that may be damaged by over-spray. Keep children, animals and bystanders out
of the area during operation. Do not use during windy conditions.
WARNING: The brass components of this product contain lead, a 16.

UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure that the item is intact and undamaged. If
any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown
on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.
SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS section at the
beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein
before set up or use of this product.
Note: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages,
refer to the Assembly Diagram near the end of this manual.
Assembly
To attach the Spray Wand (6) to the Spray Control Body (7), loosen the Spray 1.
Wand Nut (5).
Push the Spray Wand through the Wand Nut into the Spray Control Body until it 2.

Functions
This hand pumped sprayer is intended for spraying common household 1.
chemicals in home, lawn or garden. Its Plastic, Rubber and Brass construction is
impervious to most commonly available household chemicals. It is portable and
easy to use and keep clean.

Be sure to follow manufacturer’s directions for proper and safe use of chemicals. 2.
Do not mix chemicals in the sprayer or for use in the sprayer. Dispose of unused
chemicals properly.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the
beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein
before set up or use of this product.
Filling the Sprayer
Before operating the gardening sprayer, put on ANSI-approved safety goggles 1.
and other safety gear.

malfunction is noticed,
repair the Sprayer before using any chemicals.
Adjust the spray pattern by turning the Nozzle Tip on the end of the Wand. 3.
Loosen the Tip for a narrow stream. Tighten the Tip for a fan pattern. Do not
remove the Nozzle Tip.
Relieve any pressure that may be in the Tank by pulling up on the red Check 4.


Place the Pump Handle back into the Tank (use a twisting motion to reduce the 9.
possibility of damaging the Piston o-ring).. Be sure to align the tabs on the ring
below the Handle with the Notches on the top of the Tank. Be sure the Handle


Pressurizing the Sprayer
Unlock the Handle by turning it counterclockwise. Pull up and push down on the 1.

CAUTION: If you adjust the spray pattern by turning the
Nozzle Tip when there are chemicals in the Sprayer, you
must take precautions to prevent ingesting chemicals. It
is preferable to adjust the spray pattern when testing the
sprayer with clean water. (See page 6, item 3 of this manual.)
WARNING: Never leave a pressurized sprayer unattended.
Keep pressurized sprayer out of reach of children and
unauthorized persons.

Cleaning and Storage
Do not leave chemicals in the Tank; they can clog the system and damage the 1.
Seals. Remove all liquids from the Tank before storing.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
Risk of serious personal injury from mishandling of chemical
compounds. Use personal safety equipment when handling
chemicals. Prevent spills and exposure of persons or
animals to chemicals. Damaged equipment can fail, causing
serious personal injury. Do not use damaged equipment.
Any maintenance or service not specically explained in this
manual must be performed by a qualied service technician.
Cleaning, Maintenance, and Lubrication
BEFORE EACH USE,1. inspect the general condition of the Sprayer. Check for
loose nuts, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts,
damaged seals or nozzle, and any other condition that may affect its safe
operation.
AFTER USE,2. clean external surfaces of the sprayer with a clean cloth.
Troubleshooting
