ATTENTION!
Switch off the Soft-Starter SSW-06 before installing the RS-485
Communication Kit.
The electronic boards have components that are susceptible to
electrostatic discharge. Never touch any of the electrical components
or connectors without following the proper grounding procedures. If
it is necessary to do so, touch the grounded metallic frame or use
a suitable grounded wrist strap.
2. INFORMACIONES DE SEGURIDAD
ATENCIÓN!
Desconectar el arrancador suave SSW-06 antes de instalar el kit
de comunicación RS-485.
Las tarjetas electrónicas utilizan componentes sensibles a descargas
electrostaticas. No tocar directamente sobre los componentes o
conectores. Caso necesario, tocar antes en la carcaza metálica
puesta a tierra o utilice pulsera antiestática adecuada.
2. INFORMAÇÕES DE SEGURANÇA
ATENÇÃO!
Desligar a Soft-Starter SSW-06 antes de instalar o kit de
comunicação RS-485.
Os cartões eletrônicos possuem componentes sensíveis a descargas
eletrostáticas. Não toque diretamente sobre componentes ou
conectores. Caso necessário, toque antes na carcaça metálica
aterrada ou utilize pulseira de aterramento adequada.

3. RS-485 CONNECTIONS
There are two options for connecting the soft-starter on a RS-485 network:
point-to-point connection (directly) or multi-drop connection.

en paralelo.

derivação em paralelo.
4. CAUTION WITH THE RS-485
Use cables with cross-section equal or greater than 26AWG (0.14mm²),
shielded twisted pair.
The shields of the cables shall be grounded on every network node through
the RS-485 connector.
All the equipment on the network shall be grounded.
Use separately metallic conduits for the serial interface cable.
Remember to enable the termination resistors at the extreme ends of the
network and to disable them on the internal equipments of the network.

6. BOARD DESCRIPTION
1 → Connector for signal A (or Data +)
2 → Connector for signal B (or Data -)
3 → Connector for the reference signal
4 → DIP switches for enabling the termination resistor
5 → TX Indication LED (blink when the Soft-Starter sends a response telegram)

3 → Conector para la señal de referencia
4 → Llaves para habilitación del resistor de terminación
5 → LED de indicación TX (asciende cuando el arrancador suave envía
telegrama de respuesta)
6. DESCRIÇÃO DO CARTÃO
1 → Conector para o sinal A (ou Data +)
2 → Conector para o sinal B (ou Data -)
3 → Conector para o sinal de referência
4 → Chaves para habilitação do resistor de terminação
5 → LED de indicação TX (ascende quando a Soft-Starter envia telegrama
de resposta)
