• Be sure to insert the battery with
correct positive (+) and negative
(—) polarity.
• Do not use appliance for other
than its intended use.
• Do not use the appliance if it is
damaged or has malfunctioned.
• DO NOT drop or hit the mill
against a hard object. This can
cause the mill to malfunction or
stop working completely.
• Do not immerse in any liquid;
instead use a soft wet cloth
toclean.
• Store appliance in a dry place
away from direct sunlight.
• DO NOT mix old and new
batteries. Replace all batteries
atthe same time.
• DO NOT mix Alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc), or rechargeable
(Ni-Cad, Ni-MH, etc.) batteries.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be
followed including:
• When the mill is not used for
more than a month, remove
the batteries from the mill to
prevent it from leaking. If it leaks,
carefully wipe away the liquid
inside the battery compartment
and replace the batteries with
anew one.
• Do not heat or disassemble
batteries and never dispose of
old batteries by throwing them
into a re.
• Do not dispose batteries into
standard garbage disposal
sites. Dispose of at available
Battery Recycle Sites after fully
discharging battery. Not doing
so may violate local disposal laws
and regulations. Please refer
to local regulations for proper
battery disposal.
• Do not place appliance on
or near a hot gas burner, hot
electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
• StoreBound shall not accept

Install six AAA batteries,
aligning the positive(+) side of
each battery with the positive
indicator on battery well,
and the negative(–) side with
thenegative indicator and
springs.
Remove the Motor.
Remove the Top by turning it
slightly counterclockwise and
lifting it from the Base.

Fill the Reservoir with
peppercorns, coarse dry salt, or
your spice mix. Make sure to only
ll the Reservoir halfway to allow
for the Motor to be reinstalled.

To reinstall the Top back
onto the Base, rotate the Top
clockwise until it slides back
into place. Your Electric Salt &
Pepper Mill is now ready to use.
Reinstall the Motor, with
batteries, back into theBase.

WARNING: If the Top will not lock securely into place, the Reservoir might be
overlled. If this is the case remove some of your spices and try again.

Electric Salt & Pepper Mill or any of its components into a dishwasher.

Your Storebound product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a
period of one (1) year from the date of the original purchase when utilized for normal and intended
household use. Should any defect covered by the terms of the limited warranty be discovered within
one (1) year, StoreBound LLC will repair or replace the defective part. To process a warranty claim,

agent will conduct troubleshooting in an attempt to x any minor problems. If troubleshooting fails
to x the problem, a return authorization will be issued. Proof of purchase indicating date and place
of purchase is required and should accompany the return. You must also include your full name,
shipping address, and telephone number. We are unable to ship returns to a PO Box. StoreBound
will not be responsible for delays or unprocessed claims resulting from a purchaser’s failure to
provide any or all of the necessary information. Freight costs must be prepaid by the purchaser.
