Use
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Improper use of the mill
may result in damage.
− Only switch the mill
on, if it is filled with
grinding material
(salt or pepper).
The advantage of a mill
is that it only grinds the
salt or pepper once you
require the respective
ingredient. This way, the
spice has more flavour.
1. Remove the protec-
tive cap 7.
2. Hold the mill over the
food to be seasoned
and press the on/
off switch 1. The
grinding mechanism
and lamp 9 remain
switched for on as
long as you press the
on/off switch.
3. Replace the protec-
tive cap after use.
If the mill
is blocked,
the grinding
mechanism
has a blockage.
In this case, the mill
must be shaken slight-
ly, put upside-down
and briefly switched
on.
Set degree of
fineness
1. Remove the protec-
tive cap 7.
2. Turn the mill upside-
down and switch it
on briefly, in order
to free the grinding
mechanism.
3. Turn the adjusting
wheel for the degree
of fineness 8 in the
middle of the grind-
ing mechanism in the
appropriate direction.
Please note the arrow
marker and +/- marks
(see Fig. B).
Coarse degree of
fineness:
− Rotate counter-clock-
wise in the “+” direc-
tion.
Fine degree of fineness:
− Rotate clockwise in
the “-” direction.
Troubleshooting
No function.
− Inserting new bat-
teries.
− Insert the batteries in
the right direction.
The mill is grinding, but
nothing is coming out.
− Remove protective
cap 7.
− Do not turn the
adjustment wheel for
the degree of fine-
ness 8 clockwise as
far as it will go.
If the LED no
longer lights
up, it is not
possible to re-
place the lamp.

the mill may result in
damage.
− Do not immerse the
mill or parts of it in
water or other liquids.
− Never use hard,
scratching or abra-
sive detergents or
similar, for cleaning
the mill. You might
scratch the surface
this way.
1. Wipe the mill clean
with a soft, slightly
dampened cloth.
2. To clear the device
of residues, turn the
mill upside down and
switch it on briefly.

for a longer period of
time:
