When using any electrical
appliance, basic safety
precauons should always be
followed, including the following;
This appliance is intended for
indoor, household use.
Unintended use or operaon
may result in personal injury,
damage to property or damage
to the appliance that will void
the warranty.
This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilies or lack of
experience and knowledge if
they have been given
supervision and/or instrucon
concerning safe use of the
appliance and the
understanding of hazards.
Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made
by children unless they are
older than 8 years old and
supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children less
than 8 years old.
Never handle or operate any
appliance with wet or moist
hands.
Do not immerse appliance, cord
or plug in water or other
liquids. Take care whilst
cleaning.
If the appliance has fallen in
water do not reach for it,
immediately switch the
appliance o at the mains and
unplug it.
Ensure that the cord is not in a
posion where it can be pulled
or tripped over accidentally.
Never use the cord to carry or
pull the appliance. Do not let
the cord hang over the edge of
a table or counter.
Keep the cord away from
heated surfaces.
Do not use the appliance if it
has malfunconed, been
dropped or damaged in
anyway. If the unit has been
damaged take the unit for
examinaon and/or repair by
an authorised service agent.

appliance, repair or modify the
appliance, use the appliance for
unintended applicaons or use

Do not place the appliance near
a naked ame, hot gas or
electric burners, or any
appliances generang heat.
Always remove the plug safely
from the socket aer use. Do
not pull from the cord.
Appliance Specic Safety Informaon
Disconnect the switch ring and switch dent when inserng or
removing the vegetables.
Use the food pusher at all mes to push food through the chute.
Do not use hands to push food through.
Do not insert utensils and other foreign items into the food chute.
Do not aempt to reach into the appliance through the food
chutes.
Handle the blades with care, parcularly during disassembly and
cleaning of the appliance
Do not aempt to process prohibited items.
Keep the mains unit away from water.
Do not allow children to operate this appliance.
It recommended that the appliance is run for a maximum of 2
minutes in one cycle. Allow the appliance to rest for 5 minutes
before reusing.

Product Assembly
1. Slide the collecon cup (12) into the
container (11).
2. Fit relevant aachment onto the
plate frame. To replace, simply li it
back out.
3. Place the plate frame (9) with the
aachment onto the step of the
container (10).
4. Place the cover (7) onto the
container (10) ensuring that it is
rmly aached.
5. Connect the mains unit to the cover.
Align the dents of main unit on the
convex of the cover.
6. Insert the large food pusher (3) into
the large food chute (6). Ensure that
the rib of the food chute is at the
top.
7. Put the medium food pusher (2) into
the large food pusher (3).
8. Put the small food pusher (1) into the
medium food pusher (2). The
appliance is now ready for operaon.

Using the Appliance
1. Plug the appliance in at the mains and switch it on.
2. Insert the vegetable into the large food chute.
3. Push the vegetable into the food chute with the food pusher. Push and hold
down the switch ring to start the appliance. .
4. Release the switch when the vegetable size is 2-3cm and the vegetable cannot
be cut or grated any further. Do not press the food pusher with force as this may
damage the appliance.
5. Pull out the collecon cup and remove the sliced or grated vegetable.
6. Switch o at the mains and remove the plug.

Choosing the Appropriate Food Chute
There are three food chutes to choose from (small, medium and large). Choose the
most appropriate chute that ts the vegetable.
For thick vegetables
1. Cut the vegetable into an even,
appropriate size to be inserted into the
large food chute.
2. Always place the thicker end of the
vegetable into the chute rst.
3. Insert the vegetable into the food chute.
Press down with three food pushers
(small, medium and large).
For medium vegetables
1. Place the large food pusher into the
large food chute.
2. Insert the vegetable into the large food
pusher
3. Press down with both small and
medium food pushers.
For ne vegetables
1. Insert the medium food pusher into the
large food pusher.
2. Place the large and medium food
pusher onto the large food chute.
3. Insert the vegetable into the medium
food pusher.
4. Press with the small food pusher.

Using the Blade Slicer Aachment
CAUTION: Switch o the appliance and ensure all parts have stopped before
changing accessories.
1. Prepare the slicer blade. To make a thick slices, use the slicer blade only. To
make thinner slices, insert the slicer blade insert (17) into the slicer blade.
2. Place the slicer blade onto the plate frame.
3. Place the plate frame onto the container. Put the cover and the main unit on the
container.
4. Insert the vegetables into the food chute.
5. Press the vegetables into the food chute with a food pusher.
6. Press and hold the switch ring to start slicing.
Vegetable and Cut Preparaon
Before inserng, cut the vegetables to
the size so that they can be inserted
into the food chute.
To have the required shape of
vegetable, you can cut the vegetable
prior to placing in the food chute.
Prohibited Foods
The slicer blade is recommended for the use of vegetables only. Do not use for
other foods.

Using the Julienne Aachment
CAUTION: Switch o the appliance and ensure all parts have stopped before
changing accessories.
1. Prepare the slicer blade. To make ne julienne strips insert the thin julienne
blade (18) onto the slicer blade. To make thick julienne strip insert the thick
julienne blade (19) onto the slicer blade.
2. Place the slicer blade on the plate frame.
3. Place the plate frame on the container. Put the cover and main unit on the
container.
4. Press the vegetables into the food chute with a food pusher.
5. Press the switch ring onto the switch dent to start
Vegetable Preparaon and Direcon of Vegetables
Before inserng, cut the vegetables
to the size which can be inserted
into the food chute.
Ensure the vegetable bre is parallel
to the cuer moon direcon.
Prohibited Foods
Julienne inserts can be used for vegetables only. Do not use for other foods. We
recommend not using the Julienne inserts for so and hollow vegetables such as
leeks and peppers.

Using the Grater Aachment
CAUTION: Switch o the appliance and ensure all parts have stopped before
changing accessories.
1. Place the grater (14) onto the plate frame (9).
2. Place the plate frame on the container. Put the cover and main unit on the
container.
3. Insert the cheese into the food chute, ensuring it does not exceed the
‘Maximum capacity for cheese’ indicaon. Gently push the cheese into the food
chute with a food pusher.
4. Press the switch ring onto the switch dent to start grang.

Preparaon
Before inserng the cheese into the grater, cut it to a size
which can be inserted into the food chute. Cut the cheese
lengthways and insert it into the chute vercally.
Please note: So cheeses may not grate as well as harder
cheeses such cheddar or parmesan
CAUTION: Do not stack the slicer blade and grater. This may damage the appliance
and possibly cause injury to the user.

Using the French Fry Aachment
CAUTION: Switch o the appliance and ensure all parts have stopped before
changing accessories.
1. Place the French fry blade on the plate frame.
2. Place the plate frame onto the container. Put the cover and the main unit on
the container.
3. Insert a potato into the food chute. It is recommended that you cut the end of
the potato so it sits rmly in the food chute.
4. Push the potato in the food chute with the food pusher. Press the switch ring
onto the switch dent to start slicing.

CAUTION: Do not stack the slicer blade and French fry aachment. This may cause
product failure or injury to the user.

Using the Ice Shaver Aachment
CAUTION: Switch o the appliance and ensure all parts have stopped before
changing accessories.
This ice shaver is only designed to shave ice. Do not use for any other foods.
1. Place the ice shaver on the plate frame.
2. Place the plate frame onto the step of the container.
3. Place the ice cubes into the large food chute.
4. Place the large food pusher onto the ice in the food chute. Press the switch
ring onto the switch dent to start shaving the ice.
5. Remove the shaved ice from the collecon cup.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Main Unit
Use a damp cloth with mild, liquid detergent to clean the main unit.
Do not immerse the main unit in water.
Blades and inserts
Prior to use, brush the blades with cooking oil to prevent the blades from
staining.
Wash blades under warm, running water.
Handle the blades with care.
The blades might stain if they are not washed straight away aer use.
Food Pusher
Wash the food pusher in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Cover and containers
Wash the cover and container with warm water and a mild, liquid detergent.
Storage
For ease of storage, all of the aachments handily t inside the container. Simply,
slide the collecon cup into the container and place the blades and inserts into the
collecon cup. Place the grater onto the plate frame and put it in the large
container. Put the cover, main unit and food pushers on the container.
Please note this appliance is not dishwasher safe.

Always ensure the voltage on the rang
label corresponds to the power supply
where the product is being used.
Class II double insulaon. This
appliance is double insulated
therefore no earth connecon is
required.
Check the power cord and plug regularly
for any damage. If the cord or the plug is
damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualied electrician or a service repair
centre to avoid a hazard.
Precauons should be followed for safe
cable management and connecon to
the power supply
If a new mains plug needs to be ed
follow the ng instrucons supplied
with good quality BS1363A plugs. If in
doubt consult a qualied electrician or
appliance repair agent.
a) Remove and safely dispose of the old
plug.
b) Connect the brown lead to the live

terminal “L” in the new plug.
c) Connect the blue lead to the neutral
“N” terminal.
d) Recommended fuse: 3A.
Warning! For double insulated product
no connecon is made to the Earth
terminal.
Use of an extension cable is not
recommended. If an extension cable is
required, it should be rated no less than
13A and be fully unwound before use to
avoid overheang. Do not connect
mulple appliances to the extension
cable

supply.

Your new Andrew James product comes
with a 24 month guarantee and a 2 year
xed warranty, eecve from receipt
conrmaon. Your receipt or order
number is required as proof of purchase
date so it is imperave that you keep it
safe. This guarantee only applies if the
item has been used solely for the use
intended, and all instrucons have been
followed accordingly. Please note this
product is only for domesc use only and
is not for commercial use.
Abuse of your product will invalidate the
guarantee. Returned goods can only be
accepted if repackaged properly within
the original colour product box, and
presented with the original receipt of
sale/order number. This does not aect
your statutory rights.
Returned products must be cleaned and
returned to us in as close to delivery
condion as possible.
If your product develops a problem
within the rst 12 months of the xed
warranty, we will pay all shipping costs
to have it returned to us. Aer 12
months the customer will be liable for
the cost of returning the product to us.
We will then pay to have the repaired/
replaced item shipped back to the
customer.
If you wish to return your item for a full
refund, you have the right to do so

Customers are responsible for any taxes
applied to our products when they are
shipped outside of the EU.
All of our prices are inclusive of VAT.
Once a product has been returned to us,
we will aim to repair or replace it within
30 days of receipt.
The guarantee does not cover any defect
arising from improper use, damage,
build-up of lime scale or repair aempts
made by third-pares. Also, the
guarantee does not cover normal wear
and tear of individual parts.

Non-household waste. This product must not be disposed of together with ordinary
household waste.
Separate collecon of used products, baeries and packaging allows the recovery
and recycling of materials. Reuse of materials helps prevent environmental
