ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:
Barbeque feasts should be enjoyed all year round... but nobody wants to stand outside,
drenched in rain, fighting the elements for a soggy hamburger during wet season. They also
don’t want to smoke out the kitchen neither… however, we have a solution for that.
Our innovative Smokeless Grill is entirely lightweight and portable, suitable for indoor
barbequing and grilling. Enjoy the full, authentic experience of cooking with a barbeque grill
– without the nasty smoke – by simply placing a bit of water in the collection tray and
creating steam to make juicy burgers, sausages, kebabs, koftas and much more. Its
adjustable thermostat will control the intensity of the smokeless grill’s heat up to 230°C,
ensuring perfect, thorough and even results, every time.
Beyond barbeques and grills – this safe, reliable and energy efficient Smokeless Grill comes
equipped with a diecast, non-stick, upgraded grilling plate. The large working surface of the
grill plate measures at 32.5cm long and 21.cm wide so you can grill plenty of delicious
barbeque goods, all in one go. Excess oil collects in an easy-to-clean pull-out drip tray,
ensuring you get nutritional, oil-reduced and great tasting meals. Feast on the tasty, flavour-
packed results, just like an outdoor grill.
This grill is designed for indoor and kitchen use, and has been tested with a variety of meats
to prove that smokeless really means smokeless. Our test kitchen has proven each time that
there will be no coughing, no irritated eyes, no nausea – just a fragrant, mouth-watering,
authentic barbeque smell that will get your appetite dancing.
With easy clean-up and a dishwasher-safe grilling plate and collection tray that will both not
scrape nor chip, this Smokeless Grill is the choice for all grilling enthusiasts.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS APPLIANCE WITHOUT WATER IN THE TRAY.
1. Read instructions carefully before use.
2. Remove and safely disregard any packaging material and labels before using this product
for the first time. Ensure children and babies do not play with plastic bags or any packaging
materials.
3. Before use, check that your local voltage corresponds with the specifications shown on
the appliance nameplate located under the appliance.
4. Always operate the appliance on a horizontal surface which is level, stable and non-
combustible. Do not operate the appliance on or near combustible materials such as
tablecloths or curtains.
5. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
6. Never connect this appliance to an external timer or separate remote-control system.
7. Never use this appliance with an extension cord or power board. Ensure it is plugged into
a dedicated power point and without any other appliances on the same outlet.
8. Do not turn on the power until the appliance and parts are in place as required.
9. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in water or
any other liquid. Do not expose the appliance to dripping or splashing and ensure that no
objects filled with liquids such as vases are placed on the appliance. Do not put any water or
other liquid into the main housing of the appliance through the vents. Do not rinse it under
the tap.
10. Do not touch the appliance, power cord or power plug with wet hands.
11. Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool
down (if relevant) before putting on or taking off the parts, and before cleaning.
12. The appliance does not contain any serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to open
and repair the appliance yourself. All components should only be serviced by a qualified
technician.
13. Do not use the appliance if the plug, power cable or appliance itself are damaged. If the
power cord is damaged, you must have it replaced at a service centre with qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
14. Do not use the appliance for anything other than the intended use. It is for household
use only. It is not to be used outdoors or for commercial purposes.
15. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
16. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Keep the
appliance and power cord out of reach of children when it is in operation or during the
cooling process.
17. This smokeless grill should be operated on a separate electrical power point from other
operating appliances. If the power point is overloaded with other appliances, this appliance
may not work properly.
18. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot food.
19. Do not touch the hot outer surfaces during or immediately after use. The appliances
outer surfaces will become hot during use.
20. Do not cover the smokeless grill while in use.
21. Do not place any objects onto the smokeless grill.
22. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter.
23. Do not unplug the smokeless grill by pulling on the cord.
24. This appliance is not designed to be used by people (including children) with a physical,
sensory or mental impairment, or people without knowledge or experience, unless they are
supervised or given prior instructions concerning the use of the appliance by someone
responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
25. Do not leave the appliance operating while unattended.
26. Food should only be turned or removed by using tongs (not included).
27. Do not put any paper, card, plastic, cloth or flammable objects onto the grill plate.
28. Do not use the smokeless grill without the drip / water tray and grill plate.
29. To avoid burns caused by high temperatures, extreme care must be taken. Do not touch
the grill plate or cooked food directly, always use tongs. Do not remove the drip / water tray
while the smokeless grill is in use. Ensure the smokeless grill has cooled down completely
before removing the drip / water tray and grill plate.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS:
Do not use with an extension cord. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks
resulting from being entangled in or tripping over a long cord.
ELECTRIC POWER:
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate
properly. It should be operated on a dedicated electrical circuit (power point).
PREPARATION FOR USE:
Before using the smokeless grill for the first time:
Warning: when using for the first time, the smokeless grill may emit slight odour which is
not harmful and will disappear after a few minutes. This is because a protective oil was
applied to protect parts from possible friction in transport.
Carefully unpack the smokeless grill and remove all the packing materials and protective
film.
Ensure that the temperature control knob is in the ‘off’ position.
Place the smokeless grill on a flat, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface.
Use a soft sponge and soapy water to remove any dust on the surface that may happen
during packing and transport. Allow the smokeless grill to dry before use.
WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS APPLIANCE WITHOUT WATER IN THE TRAY.
Before using the smokeless grill, pre-heat for about 5 – 10 minutes before cooking.
CONSTRUCTION:
HEAT CONTROL AND POWER LIGHT:
USING THE SMOKELESS GRILL:
OPERATION:
1. Place the grill plate on top of the base unit.
2. Pull out the drip / water tray and add water. Do not exceed the max indicator. Then push
it back into place.
WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS APPLIANCE WITHOUR WATER IN THE TRAY.
3. Turn the control knob to your desired heating level.
While the smokeless grill is heating, the red light will be on.
When the cooking temperature has reached the set level, the light will go off and the
smokeless grill will stop heating.
4. Pre-heat the smokeless grill for about 5 – 10 minutes before cooking at your desired
heating level.
5. Add the food onto the grill plate.
6. In order to evenly grill food, the food should be turned with tongs (not included) during
the cooking process.
7. When complete, turn the control knob to OFF.
TIPS:
• Be careful not to transfer germs from raw meat to cooked meat. Use separate utensils
and platters for raw and cooked meat.
• Always marinate in a tightly covered, non-metal dish and turn the food occasionally.
Ensure that all meats are refrigerated while marinating.
• Similar to a regular stove-top frying pan, grease from high-fat foods such as bacon and
sausages may splatter onto the benchtop. Protect the benchtop as necessary.
• Before grilling, partially cook bone-in chicken, ribs pieces and uncooked smoked or fresh
sausages for best results. If not partially cooked, these meats may become over browned
on the outside before the centre is done.
• To prevent scratching on the coating, use non-metallic utensils. Do not cut fresh food on
the grill rack using sharp utensils such as forks or knives that can scratch the grilling
surface.

• Use a meat thermometer (not included) to check internal meat temperature.
• Cooking times are suggested and will vary depending on the thickness of the food, origin
of the food and personal preferences.
• Foods can be grilled at maximum temperature. However, you may wish to reduce the
temperature for certain items. Low temperatures will keep foods warm once cooked.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
If your smokeless grill is not working correctly:
• Ensure the power cord is plugged into an electrical socket.
• Ensure the power cord is properly connected to the smokeless grill.
• Ensure the temperature has been set higher than 50°C.
• The appliance may not be able to draw enough operating power from the outlet. Try
switching the power cord to an outlet that has no other appliances attached to it.
• If food is undercooked or overcooked, change the cooking time and temperature
accordingly.
CLEANING:
• Before cleaning, be sure to unplug the power cord from the outlet. If necessary, wipe the
power cord with a damp cloth.
• Ensure the smokeless grill has fully cooled down before cleaning and storing.
• The drip / water tray and grill plate can be placed on the bottom rack inside the
dishwasher.
• The base unit can be wiped by hand with a warm damp cloth and a mild cleaning liquid.
• The inner surfaces can be wiped with a warm damp cloth and a mild cleaning liquid.
• Always be sure to wash the surface of the grill plate after each use to remove any grease
that may have accumulated during use.
• To keep grease from dripping outside of the base, always ensure that you are using the
smokeless grill on a flat, level surface and that the drip / water tray is completely clear of
food particles.
• Do not use scouring pads or harsh cleaners on the smokeless grill.
• Do not rinse the base unit of the smokeless grill or immerse it in water.
