For the installation of bin top kit, KBT27.

Applications: 22” wide ice machines on

30” wide bins.

Kit Contents: 2 bin top filler panels,

food grade sealant.

1. Place panels from kit on top of bin.

2. Cut front and rear gasket at inside

edge of each bin top panel.

3. Remove filler panels.

4. Remove the bin’s gasket material

from the area to be covered by the filler

panels. This includes left edge, right

edge, left and right sections of the front

and left and right sections of the back.

5. Apply food grade sealant (from the

kit) to the top edges of the bin and

canopy (where the gasket was).

6. Place panels onto sealant.

7. Apply a bead of food grade sealant to

the place on the top edge of each filler panel

where the ice machine will be.

8. Place ice machine onto bin. Center left to

right on the bin.

9. Fasten mounting straps to ice machine

(use bolts from ice machine’s hardware bag).

10. Fasten mounting straps to bin - For

Scotsman bins use the mounting straps at an

angle & the bolts from the hardware bag.

Other bins: Drill two shallow holes and use

field supplied sheet metal screws & washers

to secure the brackets to the bin.

Leave the middle front and back gasket

material intact (unless there is damage

- then replace that section or use food

grade sealant on the damaged areas).
