AJA eMini-Setup QuickStart Guide
for HELO and Mini-Connect products
General
AJA eMini-Setup is the easiest way to set up your HELO streaming and recording
device or AJA ethernet equipped Mini-Converter to work on the network .
Available for Windows and macOS, AJA eMIni-Setup also allows for easy rmware
updating over the USB Cong port using a supplied USB cable.

Installing and working with AJA eMini-Setup
Step 1:
•
Acquire eMini-Setup from the AJA website:

https://www.aja.com/family/software#eminisetup
Step 2:
•
Install eMini-Setup:
•
Unzip the Installer
•
Run the .dmg le on macOS or the .msi le on Windows
Step 3:
•
Connect Power to your AJA Ethernet equipped Converter

Step 4:
•
Connect the USB Cong USB cable to the Computer running eMini-Setup
Step 5:
•
Open eMini-Setup and Congure the device’s network settings
Note: DHCP will be enabled by default, and if the device is connected to a DHCP server
the IP address eld will populate
Step 6:
•
Type in (or Copy/Paste) the IP address into a Browser Window.!
There is also an “Open Web Page” button in the UI that will open the HELO GUI in
a browser window
Step 7:
•
Use the Web GUI to fully congure, control and use your AJA Device
