Reizen Atomic Radio-Controlled USB-Charge Analog Talking Watch
(USA-Euro Multi-Band)
#704066
Your Atomic USB-Charge Analog Talking Watch is a multi-band, radio-controlled
watch. It is able to pick up a time-setting signal from the USA (excluding Alaska and
Hawaii), UK,GERMANY, and JAPAN (60 KHz only). Wherever there is no accessible
atomic signal, the time is easily set manually.
Your watch is time-synchronized to the Atomic Clock (which measures each
second of time as 9,192,631,770 vibrations of a cesium 133 atom in a vacuum) and gives
time, which is accurate to 1 second every million years. Your radio-controlled watch
even accounts automatically for daylight saving time (when applicable).
Automatic Time Setting
Your talking radio-controlled watch receives a user-selected Atomic Clock signal
automatically at 3:00 AM every night. After reception of signal it will show the official
local time on the watch. Everything is done automatically. However, your watch can
also be set manually.
Button Functions:

Low Battery Alert
When Battery Power Level is low, the watch generates a “beep-beep” sound before it
announces the time, calendar, reception status, or alarm.
Please recharge the watch when you hear the “beep-beep” sound.
How To Charge Watch
When Battery Power Level is low, the seconds hand runs 2 steps every 2 seconds. When
this is the case, all button operations and signal reception will not function. If the watch is
not charged in time, the hands stop at 12 o’clock to conserve the remaining battery power.
The watch should be charged as soon as possible.
The charging input socket of the watch is on the back of the watch. Connect the provided
USB charging cable to a computer USB port or USB AC Adapter (not included) and the
other end into the watch.
The watch makes a chirping sound when the plug is correctly inserted and charging
begins.
Correct Watch Positions For Time Signal Radio Reception
Your watch should be positioned as follows and put near a window during signal
reception or you will not be able to get the best reception result.
As shown below, for metal case watches with a metal band, the watch band should not
make contact with the back of the watch case (insert a non-metal object to serve as a
3
spacer between the case back and the metal band) otherwise the metal band will interfere
with time signal reception.
Country Signal Selection
You can set your watch to get USA (excluding Alaska and Hawaii), UK,
Germany, or Japan (60 KHz) signal.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
Your watch is a delicate and precise instrument. Although uncommon, sometimes hard
knocks or vibrations can cause the hands to move irregularly and display the incorrect
time, even though the internal clock is keeping accurate time. You may notice this when
the time announcement does not match the position of the watch hands. To correct this
situation, you will need to reset the watch hands using the following procedures.
7
Reset Watch Hands
1. Wait until the second hand ticks to the 12 o’clock position and pull out the crown
immediately so that the second hand stops at 12.
2. Turn the crown to set Hour and Minute hands to 12 o’clock.
3. After all hands are set to 12:00:00, hold S1 (2 o'clock button) for 5 seconds and then,
4. Push in the crown.
5. The watch hands spin to match the internal time and resume normal running when
the time matching is finished. After the watch resumes normal running, the watch
hands will match the internal time-keeping of the watch.
Reset Watch To Atomic Radio Signal
You can reset the watch as follows:
1. While the watch is running, pull out the crown to stop the second hand at the 12
o’clock position.
2. Turn the crown to set Hour and Minute hands to 12 o’clock. Now all hands are set to
12:00:00.
3. Do not push in the crown but press and hold S2 (2 o'clock button) for 15 seconds and
then;
4. Push in the crown. Your watch will not run after the crown is pushed in.
NOTE: Place your watch near a window to get a time setting signal. The watch will start
to update. It will continue updating the signal over the next 24 hours if the first time
setting signal reception is not successful. The hands will move to the correct time after
receiving a valid time signal.
Watch Not Receiving Time Signal
Reasons for not being able to receive the Time Signal include:
-Being outside of the USA, UK, Germany or Japan (60 KHz) radio signal area
-Being in an area with building construction
-Metal objects or structures blocking the radio signal
-Interference by computer monitor or TV
NOTE: Ensure that the watch is left by a window, as this gives the best reception. You
may have to try different windows in the house to see which works best. You can test this
using the reception status test described earlier. Please note that reception is always better
at night.
If your watch is unable to make contact with the radio signal, it will continue to function
in the same way as a standard watch. The time will then be corrected the next time your
watch receives the radio time setting signal.
Replacing the battery
The built-in rechargeable battery is not user-replaceable. In the event it appears necessary
to replace the battery, please contact Reizen for service. See "Manufacturer's Limited

12:00:00.

update. It will continue updating the signal over the next 24 hours if the first time
setting signal reception is not successful. The hands will move to the correct time
after receiving a valid time signal.
6. After the watch is able to set the time automatically, you need to set the Time Zone
according to the following instructions:
If you are a USA user, set USA Time Zone. Go to “Country Signal Selection"
section and see USA Time Zones for details.
If you are a Japan, UK, or Germany user and provided that your watch is
bought locally, you do not need to set time zone on your watch as it has been
set to your local time zone before leaving the factory.
NOTE: If the watch does not show the right time after battery replacement, please reset
your watch according to the “Reset Watch” sections.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
1. Whenever the crown is pulled out, the watch hands stop while the internal clock still
runs. After you push in the crown, the watch will fast spin to match the internal time
automatically.

while the watch is fast spinning, the second hand will stop. After you push in the
crown, the watch will resume spinning to match the internal time.
