LOCATION: BEHIND THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT
QUANTITY USED: 1
DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: VERY EASY
ESTIMATED INSTALLATION TIME: 12 MINUTES
1. Open the glove compartment door.
2. Remove the screw retaining the damper rod to the
righthand side of the glove compartment door, then detach
the damper rod.
3. Push inward at each side of the glove compartment door to
disengage the retainers, then lower the door.
4. Through the glove compartment opening, remove the filter
housing from the filter outlet, Figure 1.
5. Remove the cabin air filter element from the filter housing,
Figure 2.
6. Install the new cabin air filter element on to the filter housing.
Ensure the filter element is properly positioned on the housing,
Figure 2.
7. Install the cabin air filter housing into the filter outlet.
8. Push inward at each side of the glove compartment door, then
raise the door into place.
9. Position the damper rod to the righthand side of the
glove compartment door, then install the retaining screw.
10. Close the glove compartment door.
