Replacing the blade
Caution
Material damage by blunt tools!
Machine overload.
¾ Check the cutting edge of the blade hourly for wear. Sharp
blades ensure good cutting quality and spare the machine.
Replace the blades in due time.
If the cutting edges are blunt, replace the blades.
1. Push out the engaged bolt (1st position).
2. Pull the blade out of the cutting head.
3. Grease new blade and bolt lightly.
4. Insert the new blade.
5. Push the bolt into the bore hole until it locks into place.
Turning or replacing the insertable blades
1. Remove the fixing screws.
2. Check the insertable blades:
¾ If a cutting edge is blunt: turn the cutting edges through
180° (change the left cutting edge to the right side and the
right cutting edge to the left side),
or
¾ if both cutting edges of an insertable blade are blunt,
replace the cutting edges.
3. Tighten the fixing screw.

5.2 Replacing the cutter plate
1. Undo the fixing screws.
2. Replace the cutter plate.
3. Tighten the fixing screws.
5.3 Changing the battery
Before using the cordless electric tool, a new exchangeable battery
or one that has not been used for a long time needs to be charged.
Note
The full capacity is reached after 4-5 charging cycles.
¾ Press the locking mechanism together and pull out the
exchangeable battery in the direction of the arrow.
¾ Slide the exchangeable battery into the machine holder from
the rear until the battery locks into place.
Note
Thanks to a mechanical code, only exchangeable batteries that are
intended for the machine can be inserted.
