Step 1
Locate and remove the designated ceiling tile by tilting the tile diagonally.
Step 2
Open ceiling tile enclosure box and remove key from the AP backplate for later use.

Step 3
Locate cable connector hole and loosen screws until the gap is large enough for RJ45 cable.
Step 4
Push RJ45 cable through the cable connector hole.

Step 5
Tighten cable connector hole screws until snug against cable. NOTE: Leave enough slack to reach the AP. Do NOT over-
tighten the cable hole screws as this may damage the cable.
Step 6
Turn enclosure over. NOTE: Four secure mounting points are provided per enclosure. Number 12-gauge wire or better should
be used to secure enclosure to ceiling structure for support once placed in the ceiling tile grid.

Step 7
Place AccelTex ceiling tile in place. Working above the ceiling route Ethernet cable to enclosure and through ceiling tile cable
entry point. Connect the cable to the 10/100/1000 POE port on the access point (accessible through door). Secure the four
support points to secure ceiling structure using 12 AWG wire or better.

Step 8
Using the studs on the back of the AP, align them to the slots on the AP backplate of the ceiling tile enclosure.
Step 9
Press the AP studs into the slots of the back plate then slide forward until the AP is seated and secured. TIP: This process can be
accelerated if an adjacent ceiling tile is pushed up so that the installer can apply downward pressure on the ceiling tile
enclosure. However, this is optional and is not a requirement to complete the installation.

Step 10
Close and relock the AP panel on the ceiling tile enclosure. Test the network.
