11. WIRELESS AND NETWORK SETTINGS
1. Press source key on the Remote.
2. Scroll down the source list and select “Net Connect” option.
> Wired
> Wireless
> Data card
4. WIRED: Press Yellow Key to Enable/Disable Wired Connection.
· Connected automatically.
· If it does not get connected automatically press OK key.
· In configuration window press right navigation key and select manual.
· Enter IP address, subnet mask, default router, Primary DNS, Secondary DNS of the device to
which you want to connect by pressing the right navigation key.
· Press OK to save the edited Information.
5. WIRELESS : Press Yellow Key to Enable/Disable Wireless Connection
· Press OK key.
· After pressing the OK key two options are visible `Auto’ and `Manual’.
· Select `Auto’ to connect automatically.
3. Press Blue Color key " " to select Network settings. Network setup window will open with 3 options
· Select desired Wireless Connection by pressing Green Color key .
· Press Yellow key to enter the password of the wireless device.
· Now press green key to connect the wireless device.
· If it does not get connected automatically; press back“ ” key.
· In configuration window press down navigation key and select manual.
· After manual selection of Wi-Fi, press yellow key to enter SSID ; then press green key to scan the
given network.
· After Network scan,Enter Password of Wi-fi device.
· Press Green key to connect to the network.
· Every mains on and off it is necessary to enter the password.
NOTE : To get Wi-Fi Dongle, contact service person.
6. DATACARD : Click on data card option to enter into the data card settings.
Note : The Device Name, Device No., Device Password are given by the Data card provider.
> Device Name: Press Blue Key to edit the device name.
Example :- Tata photon : Tata photon+ (Model No. : EC1261)
Reliance : Reliance netConnect+ (Model No. : ZTE AC2737)
Idea : ideagprs (Model No. : HUAWEI E1732)
> Device number: Press blue key to enter the device number.

> Set the Username and Password.
Example :- Tata photon : User name : internet, Password : internet
Reliance netConnect+ : Username : Reliance 10-digit netconnect+ number
Password : Reliance 10-digit netconnect+ number

> Click on the auto-reconnect option then press green key to Connect or Disconnect the data card.
> Every Mains ON and OFF, it is necessary to enter the password.

This function enables to browse the website by entering the
link at URL text box. User’s favorite pages with their thumb
links are displayed at the front page of browser.
Chat
This function is used for instant messaging support with most popular chat
servers.(For Text Chat Only)
V Apps
This function is used to access the Videocon applications.
Ex. : Facebook, Twitter, Nivio, Weather, You Tube, Games,

To use facebook chat

New Server Settings:To add new chat server , press yellow key to
configure the settings.
It is must to add server name, Host name, port number.
Select the proper authentication type i.e.Plain authentication and legacy,
SSL by Ok key.
After entering valid settings of new server which you want ; press Green
key to save settings.
NOTE: It is based on XMPP protocol, so you can enter only those chats
which comes under this protocol.

First we have to create profile:

Account Name: Press the BLUE key on remote and then select the

Email ID:- Enter your mail ID of particular account which you selected in
Account Name.
To enter mail ID, press “i”key If any character is wrong then press red key
for backspace.
PASSWORD: Press “i” key to enter password.
Now to login, press Green key.
To Exit from eMail there will be automatic Logout.
> Press Yellow key to filter the mobile files, without filtering you can’t
access mobile files.

> To access this feature, enter the IP address of Desktop/Laptop in given

> Create a share in Windows PC.
> Right click on folder to be shared. Click on properties.
> Got to sharing Tab. Enable share option and click ON.
> User can create the sharing with different security levels.

Procedure to Share Folder in PC:
