Ensure you have all needed components before
beginning the build. Please see Page 1 for full
parts list.
Attach Trusses (O) using Hexagon Corner Bracket (I), Carriage Bolts (D) and Kep-Locknuts (E) to create the
outer frame of the hexagon. Ensure that top of trusses are facing upwards for step 4.

Truss Centre Point
Measure the centre point of the truss (as shown)
for opposite sides the truss frame. Mark the centre
of each side with permanent marker. Position and
centre joist (Q) under your markings.
Using locking pliers to hold in place, line up Joists
with the markings at the center. Attach Joists (Q)
using #12x¾” Self Drilling Tek Screws (A) and Phillips
#3 Bit (U).

Measure 16” from the previous line and mark with
permanent marker. Do this on both the left and
right side of the prior Joist. Repeat for Truss on the
opposite side of hexagon. Position and centre 2
joists (Q) under these markings.
Measure 16” from center of previous Joist and mark
with permanent marker on the Truss. Do this on both
the left and right side of the prior Joists. Repeat for
Truss on the opposite side of hexagon. Position and
centre 2 joists (S) under these markings.
Using locking pliers to hold in place, line up joists
with the center of the markings. Attach Joists (S)
using #12x¾ Self Drilling Tek Screws (A) and Phillips
#3 Bit (U).
Flip the frame.

Tie a string to the connecting points of the two
halves to create a straight edge from one side of the
frame to the opposite side. Ensure the string is tight.

marker. Repeat on Truss on the opposite side of
hexagon. Position and centre joist (R) under these

Place the oat unto the dock frame aligning the oat
squarely and evenly with the dock frame. Ensure the
slots of the oat cover the joists below.
Install eyebolt assembly at the location indicated in
green.
Ensure the oat is square and evenly placed against
the joists below. Use the four slots of the oat as a
template to drill four holes (use a 13/32” drill bit) into
the joists.
Connect the oats to the dock frame with 3” Gal-
vanized Carriage Bolts (C) , D-Washers (H), Lock-
Washer (G) and Kep-Nuts (F). Install carriage bolt
assembly at locations indicated in red.

Connect the oats to the dock frame with 3” Gal-
vanized Carriage Bolts (C) , D-Washers (H), Lock-
Washer (G) and Kep-Nuts (F). Install carriage bolt
assembly at locations indicated in red.

Tie a string to the connecting points of the two
halves to create a straight edge. Install rst sheet of
ThruFlow decking (J) centered and aligned against
the straight edge. Install using #12x2” Self Drilling
Tek Screws (B). See ThruFlow Installation instructions.
Ensure the inside edge of the decking rests in the
centre of the joist frame.
Set circular saw to a depth that will not cut into
frame (1-1/8”). Cut o excess ThruFlow decking (J)
as shown.
With Floats rmly attached ip the frame so
the oats are on the ground. PLEASE NOTE:
THREE PERSONS ARE REQUIRED TO SAFELY
FLIP THE FRAME
After installing the rst piece, align the next piece
square to your starter piece as shown in diagram.
Install using #12x2” Self Drilling Tek Screws (B). See
ThruFlow Installation instructions.
Set circular saw to a depth that will not cut into
frame (1-1/8”). Cut o excess ThruFlow decking (J) as
shown.
Align the next piece square to the piece above as
shown in the diagram. Install using #12x2” Self Drilling
Tek Screws (B). See ThruFlow Installation instructions.

Set circular saw to a depth that will not cut into
frame (1-1/8”). Cut o excess ThruFlow decking (J) as
shown.
Align the next piece square to the pieces beside and
above it as shown in diagram. Install using #12x2”
Self Drilling Tek Screws (B). See ThruFlow Installation
instructions.

Set circular saw to a depth that will not cut into
frame (1-1/8”). Cut o excess ThruFlow decking (J) as
shown.
Ensure Thruow decking is cut ush with the truss
frame.
Install Aluminum Trim (K) around the sides of hexa-
gon using #12x¾” Self Drilling Tek Screws (A) through
each piece of trim, into the truss.

Partially cut the P-Bumper at corner edge and wrap
around frame so it is ush against decking. Fasten
screws at one foot intervals for the top/bottom of the
P-Bumper. Use #12x¾” Self Drilling Tek Screws (A).
Starting at the center of truss attach P-Bumper (L) us-
ing #12x¾” Self Drilling Tek Screws (A) every foot into
Aluminum Trim. Let the bumper hang over corner
edge.

When installing the P-Bumper (L) ensure the start and end of each piece is appproximately positioned at the
centre of the trusses as shown above. This method will make it more convenient for mounting and hiding
seams for heaxagon accessories such as the ladders.
Continue attaching P-bumpers(L) as done in Steps
43 and 44 around hexagon, butting each end up to
another. PLEASE NOTE: There may be a small gap
between the rst and last bumper/trim when nished.
Assessories/Ladders should be installed on this side of
the trim. Trim o any excess bumper material as
needed.
