Precautions
Switch the detector off before opening it.
Disconnect the line power plug, the RS 232 connector, the
printer and the input/output interface if they are connected to
an external element (to avoid obtaining "external" voltages on
the various ASM 182 boards).
Access level 1
The front and rear covers are secured with 4 recessed screws.
Unfasten the 4 securing screws and their washers using a
5 mm Allen wrench. Use the 5 mm Allen wrench you find in
the “Maintenance kit”.

Front cover:
After unfastening the 4 screws, raise the cover (1) slightly and
pivot it forwards until it comes to a stop (2).
Using this system, the cover can be kept 3/4 open.
Rear cover:
When opening the rear cover, take care with the ground
connection linking the frame to the cover.
If necessary, remove the front cover and/or the rear cover.
For the rear cover, you need before frese the rocker bar from
the frame.
Note: A hinge system is provided on the ASM182 TD+ for
the rear cover.

Accessing the I/O
interface board
Unfasten the three CHc (allen head) screws located at the
frame interface connectors, which secure the stainless steel
cover/I/O interface board assembly.

Open the front cover of the detector to be able to access
the fourth CHc (allen head) screw securing the stainless steel /
I/O interface board assembly. It is located near the hybrid
turbo pump (oblong hole on frame).
Hold the stainless steel cover and unfasten the fourth screw.
Release the assembly to the rear of the detector, taking care
with the flat cable connectors attached to the I/O board.

To be applied after access level 1 is completed (rear cover
removed).
Remove the connections ( to ).
Remove the inlet air tube.
Remove the internal calibrated leak.
Disconnect the primary pump from the vacuum block (4 screws).
Disconnect the MDP 5011 from the vacuum block (5 screws).

Remove the 3 attachments screws of the vacuum block.
Remove the 2 attachment screws of the arch obturator.
