Connect Panel Intended use

3 Intended use
Connect Panel serves for the central monitoring and control of CI BUS-based vehicle
technology in recreational vehicles.
4 Technical description
Connect Panel is a central control unit for consumer units in recreational vehicles and
accessories such as data collectors, field distributors, heaters, air conditioners or
chargers.
The control unit is operated using three sensor buttons and a touchscreen. The
touchscreen is also used to display status information.
CI BUS-based vehicle technology sends information and receives operator and con-
trol commands. The open system supports CI BUS-based vehicle technology from a
variety of different accessory manufacturers.
You can find the exact number of supported devices on the website of the vehicle
manufacturer:

Air conditioner
Heating system
Fresh water and gray water tanks
The inside air temperature sensor can be directly connected to the display.
The mains voltage supply for the caravan can be switched on and off using the main
switch.
The software for the system control is updated using a microSD card.

5 Operating the system
5.1 Basic operation

Control unit
You can access menus and enter settings as follows:
by touching the sensor buttons
by touching a symbol on the navigation bar
by touching a symbol on the display which has a rectangular frame
An activated function is displayed with a highlighted background.

If only one setting is available (e.g. air conditioner ON/OFF):
Press the corresponding touch symbol.
The corresponding setting is displayed.
If several settings are available (e.g. air conditioner modes or fan speeds):
Press the corresponding touch symbol multiple times until you reach the desired
setting.
The corresponding setting is displayed.
NOTE
Symbols are only shown on the display if the corresponding vehicle
technology is connected. The symbols and settings displayed can vary
depending on the manufacturer and model.

Calling up the menus
To open the desired menu, proceed as follows:
Press the corresponding symbol on the navigation bar or …
… press the corresponding symbol with a rectangular frame on the operating
panel.
The menu is displayed.
Setting functions and values
Open the corresponding
detail menu.
Select a parameter using touch logic.
Press or to increase or decrease a value.
Press , to save the settings and return to the previous menu.
The set functions and values are adopted by the system.

7Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see dometic.com/dealer) or your retailer.
For repair and warranty processing, please send the following items:
