Installing the Cable Cover
The rear cable cover can be installed to hide the rear ports
and cables. The doors on top of the cable cover can be
opened and snapped back to allow room for a security lock
if one is attached to the rear of the computer.
To install the cable cover:
1. If there is a security lock attached to the rear of the
computer, open the appropriate door on the top of the
cable cover and snap it back to make room for the
security lock.
2. Insert the tabs on top of the cable cover into the slots on
the rear of the computer access panel 1 and rotate the
bottom of the cable cover against the rear of the
computer 2.
3. Tighten the two captive screws on the bottom of the
cable cover to secure it in place.
4. The cable cover is designed to allow cables to route out
of the back of the computer horizontally or vertically.
