Easily load and unload cargo and equipment into and out of your pickup truck bed with this
heavy-duty, hitch-mounted crane. Hydraulic ability eliminates the need for wiring and provides
smooth, controlled operation.
Hitch-Mounted Design
This crane conveniently slides into your 2-inch trailer hitch receiver, leaving your truck bed open
so that you can easily load all of your cargo. The T-style base ensures that the crane sits off to
the side of your truck so that you get absolute clearance for moving items into and out of your
truck bed.
It is recommended that you use the crane with either a Class III or Class IV hitch to ensure that
you do not exceed your hitch's maximum tongue weight capacity. That being said, this crane is
designed to take up as little tongue weight as possible. The majority of the weight of your load is
supported not by the hitch itself, but by the two integrated legs of the crane. These support legs
sit beneath the hydraulic ram to provide a strong, sturdy base. Easily adjust the legs to match the
height of your trailer hitch, and they will provide an excellent foundation for your application.
Easy Operation
To work the crane, simply insert the included handle into the slot near the hydraulic ram. To
raise the boom, just pump the handle. Once your load is at the intended height, manually pivot
the upright post to move the item into your truck bed. Then slowly turn the release valve
counterclockwise to drop the hydraulic pressure, thus lowering your load.
Three Boom Positions
Three different boom positions are available, ensuring proper leverage for any given load.
Choose the position farthest out on the crane arm for wide or unwieldy cargo to make
maneuvering it into your truck bed a snap. For heavier items, move the fulcrum point closer to
the body of the crane. This change in leverage provides an increase in mechanical advantage to
make hoisting heavy loads easy.
Simple, Compact Storage
Storing the crane is simple. The entire thing breaks down for compact storage. Remove the boom
by first dropping it to its lowest position. Then fold the boom up and lift it off of the base
assembly. Remove the base from your hitch receiver and use the quick pins to release the legs.
Fold the legs up, and use the integrated storage strap to tie everything together.
