The marked button has the following two functions.
a) The first function is for turning the camera on and off.
Press this button for more than three seconds to turn on/off
the camera.
b) The second function is for freezing and unfreezing images.
Note: After turning off the device, it is recommended to wait at least ten
seconds before next start-up to ensure the safety of the camera.

Battery installation and replacement
Insert 3 AAA batteries into the battery compartment according to
the directions of the positive and negative poles, insert the battery
compartment into the battery socket, close the battery cover and
boot.
The battery level indicator icons have the following status:
1.Green icon: full power ~ nearly 1/2 battery power.
2.Orange icon: 1/2 power ~ low battery power.
3.Alternating red and white flashing: The battery is exhausted and
is about to shut down.
4.When the battery icon flashes, replace the battery as soon as
possible.

2.2 Quick Start
2.2.1
Capture thermal image
After the battery is installed, press the power button (longer than
3 seconds) until the startup screen appears. After the startup
screen, it is ready to use.
2.2.2 Temperature measurement
When the target temperature is lower than -20°C (-4°F) The
screen temperature will display <-20°C (<-4°F).
When the target temperature is higher than 150°C (302°F) The
screen temperature will display >150°C (>302 °F).
2.2.3 Freeze image
2.2.4 Automatic power off
Short press power button to freeze the image, and short
press it again to cancel the freeze.
If there is no key operation within 5 minutes, the device will
blank the screen; After the screen blank, If there is no key
pressed to wake up within 30 seconds, the instrument will
automatically power off.
