1. Connect Your NVIDIA Shield Box to Your TV With an HDMI Cable (See Input #3 Below).

2. Plug the Power Supply to Your Device (Input #5) and Plug the Other End into the Wall. Grab

Your TV Remote and Change the Input Channel Until You Find Your NVIDIA Shield TV Device.

3. Grab Your NVIDIA Shield Remote, Hold Down the Back Button, and Click “Network Settings” to

Sign into WIFI or Preferably Plug in an Ethernet Cable (Input 4).

Click the #1 Icon to Launch the “Day 1: Freedom Build and Continue Reading.

2 Very IMPORTANT Rules for Using Kodi and Streaming Properly.

1. Wait for Your Kodi Builds to Load. It Usually Only Takes 1-Minute for Your Day: 1 Freedom

and Kodi Build to Load (Most Other Kodi Builds Take 3-5 Minutes), but It Just Depends on

How Long It Has Been Since You Used It Last. It Has to Process All the Addon Updates that

Have Rolled Through Since Then. Please Do Not Click Anything Until It Finishes Loading. You

Will See the Weather Icon and Temperature Pop-Up. And Then Your Build will Process any

Addon Updates Available.

2. Remember to Exit Out of Your Apps and Your Kodi Builds Properly (Do Not Click the Home

Button and Leave Your Apps and Kodi Builds Running in the Background.) In Your Kodi

Builds You Simply Hold Down the Back Button on Your Remote Control While You Are on

any of the Main Screens in Your Build (like Movies, TV Shows, Sports, Etc.). Then Click “Exit”.

Please Wait Up to 1-Minute for Kodi to Close Out. This is When Kodi Saves Everything. In

Your Apps, You Just Click the Back Button Until It Asks You if You Want to Exit and Then You

Click Exit or it Simply Just Closes Out After Pressing the Back Button 2-3 Times.

If You Cannot Open One of Your Apps or Kodi Builds or It Takes More than 2 Minutes for

Your Kodi Builds to Close Out, Double Click Your Home Button. Scroll Left and Find Your

Kodi or Day 1: Freedom Build, Scroll Down and Click Dismiss. Click the App Again and See If

It Opens. If You Continue to Have Issues, Click Your Home Button and Click the Main

Settings for Your Device (in the Bottom Left or Top Right Corner)> Click “Apps”> Click

“Kodi18” (for the 1 Icon), Click “Kodi” or Any App You Need to Open> Click “Clear Cache”.

Please Do Not Ever Click “Clear Data”. This Will Delete Your Build. Click “Open”.

This Is How You Get Out of You App Launchers. Click the Back Button to Get Out of the

Screen Capture Menu if That Pops Up. You Can Also Double click the Home Button to

Scroll Through Your Recently Used Apps. Press the Down Button and then Select “Dismiss”

to Close Out Your TV Launcher Applications and Return to the Home Screen. You Can Also

Dismiss Kodi If It Freezes Up and Force Close Unresponsive Apps by Clicking “Dismiss”.

3. Pay Special Attention to the Volume Slider on Your Remote and Controller (the Strip in

the Center of the Remote from the Mic Button Down). You Can Tap on this Strip to Pause

and Play the Movie. If You Tap the Volume Slider 3-4 Times it Activates Your Mouse Toggle

Click Your Home Button to Deactivate the Mouse Toggle. If this is Your First Time Using

Your Mouse Toggle, Locate Your Mouse Toggle App and Click Here.

Have an NVIDIA Gaming Remote?

Use Your Right Joystick to Pull Up Your Mouse Toggle in Certain Applications (This Controls

the Volume in Kodi) and Pay Special Attention to the Back, Play, and Home Buttons Facing

Up At You at (Between Your 2 Joysticks). The “X” Button is Your Menu Button. You Can

You Scroll Up 2 Times (2x) and Click the Select Button on Your Remote to Click “Favourites”.

See the Star and Power Icons in the Bottom Left Corner? Click Them to Pull Up Your “Favourites” and

Exit Out of Diggz and Cellardoor TV.

How to Play a Movie or Show with Scraper Addons:

See Our Top 10 List, for the Best Kodi Addons for Movies and TV Shows. Just Find One of the

Addons On Our List and Find It In Your Movie Section. Click it and Find a Movie You Want to

Watch. Click the Movie and Then Click the Link You Want to Play the Movie. Pay Attention

to 1 Thing. Pay Attention to the # of the Link it Actually Plays on Your Screen. (Not the Link

You Clicked) It Doesn’t Always Play what You Clicked. It Will Skip it If It’s a Bad Link. So, Pay

Attention Closely to the Number on Your Screen.

If It Doesn’t Play, Scroll Down and Click the Next Link (If it Stopped or Failed to Play Stream

#10, Click #11). If it Plays but Its Freezing or Buffering, You Can Either Pause the Video and

Wait to See if It Straightens Out, or You Can Click the Back Button to Stop the Video, Scroll

Down and Click the Next Link. (Again, If it played link #10, Click #11).

Having a Hard Time Finding Kodi Addons on Our Top 10 List in the Build?

Click Directly on the Word “Movies”. Click on Any Movie You Want and Click “Play” This will Allow

You to Select the Addon You Want to Use (See Our “Top 10 List” for the Best Addon). Select the

Addon You Want to Search for the Movie. It will Find You Links and List Them According to Quality.

Click the Top Link. Once Again, Pay Attention to the Link It Plays, not just the Link You Clicked. If It

Doesn’t Play, Scroll Down and Click the 2nd Link. Or Simply Try Another App or Addon. The

Quickest Way to Close Out of a Movie or Show is to Long Press the Back Button. Then Click the

Back Button as Usual to Get Back to the Main Menu.

• Movies that Are Still Playing in the Theatre May Not Be Available in HD Quality. You Don’t

Have to Settle for Grainy Movies. Most Movies Will Be Available in HD When We Get Close

to the Golden Globes and “Oscars”.

• Rem: If You Get a Pop Up that Tells You to Go to a Website, like www.Olpair.com or

www.Vshare.eu You Can Just Go to Your Phone and Type in the Website to Pair Up Your

Device. Or Click the Back Button to Continue Searching.

• If the Link Doesn’t Play or Starts Buffering. Click the Back Button, Scroll Up, and Click Any

Other Link or Try Your Movie Apps. To Stop the Movie: Hold Down the Back Button. or Click

the Menu Button and Scroll Left 1x to Click Stop in your Other Build) Otherwise it will Run in

the Background and Slow Down the Search Process.

For TV Shows Make Sure You Are Backed Out to the Main Screen and Scroll to Your Right 1x to

“Shows”. Scroll Down and Scroll to the Right. Click Any Addon In Our Top 10 List You Can Find,

Scroll Down and Click “Trending” or “People Watching”. Find a Show You Want to Watch. Click it,

Click the Season, and Click the Episode.

Exit Out of Kodi by Holding Down the Back Button or Scrolling Down and Clicking the Exit

Button. Then Click “Exit”. Please Wait Up to 1 Min. This is When Kodi Saves Everything.

Failing to Exit Out Properly Is Very Important. If You Don’t Exit Out Properly, Your Build

Will Freeze When You Try to Open It. See How to “Clear Cache” Below to Fix This.

Movies and TV Shows (Cinema, Cyberflix, Media Box, Etc.)

If You Are Ever Having a Hard Time finding or Playing a Movie or Show in Kodi, Don’t Try

Another Build, Try Your Apps like Cinema (HD Movies), Cyberflix, and Morph TV (or Whatever

App is Currently at the Top of Our Your “Movie Apps” Right Now. How Do You Find Your Apps?

Just Look in Each Section of Your Freedom Build for Your Apps. Your Movies Apps are In Your

“Movies” Section. Click Directly on the Word “Sports’ to Bring Up Your Sports Apps. You Will

Find All Your Apps In the “Apps” Section of Your Day 1: Freedom Build. See the Top 10 List to

See Which Apps We Currently Recommend for Movies and Shows.

Why Use Your Apps? Websites Are Aware of Kodi and They Try to Block Kodi Addons from

Accessing Their Videos because the Traffic from Kodi Makes Their Website Crash. They Also

Lose Money from Kodi because They Do Not Get The Money they Make From Ads When You

Stream the Movie Ad-Free Via Kodi Instead of Streaming it Directly on Their Site. That is Why

How to Update Your Apps? And/ or Get Rid of Ads?

Some Apps Update on Their Own, Other Apps Need to Be Updated Using Your App Markets.

Make Sure Your Apps Are Running the Latest Version by Scrolling Left in Your Day 1: Freedom

Build. When You Get to the “Apps” Section, Scroll Down and Click “App Markets” Read the

Notes in This Section or Continue Reading Below. Disable Your Ad Blockers. Click “Apktime” App

Market, click “Top Apps” or “Entertainment” for Movie and TV Show Apps (Also See the “Live”

Section, “Sports”, “Fire TV Devices”, “Android TV”, “Non-English”, and More). Verify the Dates.

If the Date on APKTime is More Recent Than the Date That You Purchased Your Device, or the

Date You Received the Latest Update, Click “Download” and Install the New App. Want Apps

That Are More Likely to Update on Their Own? Download the “Original” Versions of the App

(Read More Below). Get an Error Message? (“Parse” or “Parsing” Error?) Click the “Easy

Uninstaller” App to Open the Application (the White Trash Can Icon in the App Markets

Section), Scroll Down and Then Long press the Application You Are Having an Issue Updating.

Click “Uninstall”. If Your Download is Stuck at 0%, Disable Your Ad-Blocker Application. If That

Movie Databases (IMDB, TMDB, Trakt) Have Nothing to Do With Streaming. They Add New

Movies Whenever Information About the Movies Becomes Available. Sometimes Websites

Forget to Label a Video as a Trailer so Your Addons Will Find New Trailers that Have Been

Falsely Labeled as Movies and Start to Play Them, Just for You to Find Out that It’s a 3 Minute

Trailer Not a Movie. Or it’s a Foreign Video, Terrible Quality, Etc. This Happens All the Time

Because the Video Addon Just Searches Websites Like Google. If a Website Has a Movie File

Labeled the Name of the Movie You Are Searching for It’s Going to Find It but There Are No

Guarantees About Quality and Accuracy.

When You Are in Your Freedom Build’s Movie Section, Scroll Down and to the Right. Click “Top

5 HD Addons”, Click Any of the Playlist for “Latest HD Releases” This will Tell Exactly Which

Movies Have Been Found Recently in HD.) They Are All the Same, the Only Difference is the

Addon that Searches for Them.

If You Ever Click on Kodi and the Screen Is Black or it Freezes Up, You Need to “Clear Cache”.
