Remote control installation
1. According to the figure display below, place the remote control with face down,
then open the cover of battery apartment.
2. As in the figure display below, install two AA batteries. (The + and - symbol of
battery must match with the marks on the remote).
3.Close the cover of battery apartment.
Cautions for using remote control
Confirm there is no object between the
remote control and the remote sensor
of TV set.
Sunshine or other strong light will
interfere the signal sent by the remote
control. In this situation turn the TV
set to avoid the direct light source.
Do not put the remote control in direct
heat or a damp place, or potential
damage to the remote may occur.
Please use two AA 1.5V batteries.
Do not mix battery types.
Install the batteries as the correct
polarities.
Do not use the rechargeable batteries.

BASIC OPERATION
1. If the TV set is in standby status, pressing the power
switch on the remote control or TV set will turn the
power on to the set.
2. Pressing power switch on the remote control or
the TV set again, the TV set will enter standby
status.
Standby mode: connect set to the AC power outlet.

ADJUSTMENT
You can use CH+/- button or direct number
buttons to select the TV channel number.
Press VOL+/- button to adjust the volume.
RECALL
Pressing RECALL button can switch the channel to the
last channel you watched.
MUTE FUNCTION
1. Press MUTE button to turn off the TV sound, the
screen displays mute icon.
2. Press MUTE button again or VOL+ button to turn
on the TV sound.

For your convenient operation and in order to know the TV set, we offer the below
menus.
Operation instructions
The actual display may differ from the above menus, if you need adjust, please do as
follows:
1.Press MENU button to open the menu, use CH+/- button to select every menu
separately, use VOL+/- button to enter.
2.Press CH+/- button to select the item needs adjust.
3.Press VOL+/- button to adjust the selected item, or enter the next menu.
4.Press MENU button to return the last menu or exit the screen menu display.
Note: “press MENU button to select the menu operation in the users manual, please
refer to these operation instructions.
AUTO SEARCH
Using AUTO SEARCH can search all available
channels. We recommend using auto search to
search the program when you use this TV set for
the first time.
1.Press MENU button to select source menu.
2.Press CH+/- button to select AUTO SEARCH.
3.Press VOL+/- button to start searching, press MENU
button to finish auto search.
Note: In most cases you will only have to run the Auto
Search function once, unless you change your
cable provider.
When you can’t get satisfactory tuning on a channel,
you can fine tune to correct.
1. Press MENU button to select source menu.
2. Press CH+/- button to select FINE TUNE.
3. Press VOL+/- button to start fine tune until you
obtain the best picture and sound, then loose
the button, press MENU button to exit.

1. Select the program number you want to skip.
2. Press MENU button to select source menu.
3. Press CH+/- button to select SKIP, press
VOL+/- button to select ON.
4. Press MENU button to shut off the menu.

When you use CH+/- button to select channel,
this channel number will be skipped. But you
can still use direct number buttons to select the
skipped channel number directly.
Note: How to recover the skipped channel number
1. Press direct number buttons to select the
channel number that needs recover.
2. Press MENU button to enter source menu.
3. Press CH+/- button to select SKIP, press VOL+/-
button to select OFF.
MTS
MTS is the U.S. standard for broadcasting stereo TV
sound. A large number of TV shows are now
broadcast in stereo sound using this technology.
1. Press MENU button to enter SOURCE menu.
2. Press CH+/- button to select MTS, press VOL+/-
button to select MONO, STEREO or SAP.

BALANCE: Press VOL+/- button to enter adjustment,
use VOL+/- button to adjust the balance of left and
right sound.
EQUALIZER: Press VOL+/- button to set sound mode
to PERSONAL, use CH+/- button to select each different
frequency, use VOL+/- button to adjust.

1.Press MENU button to enter FUNCTION menu.
2.Press CH+/- button to select CLOSED CAPTION
item.
3.Press VOL+/- button to enter CCD mode. When
CCD is in OFF mode, the CCD content will not
display; when it is in CC 1 mode, the CLOSED
CAPTION will be started, and the contents of
CLOSED CAPTION1 will be displayed after the
FUNCTION menu disappears; in a similar way,
in CC 2/CC3/CC4 mode, the contents of CLOSED
CAPTION2/CLOSE CAPTION3/CLOSE
CAPTION4 will be displayed after the FUNCTION
menu disappears. When it is in TEXT1 mode, the
TEXT1will be started, and the contents of TEXT1
will be displayed after the FUNCTION menu
disappears; in a similar way, when it is TEXT2/
TEXT3/TEXT4 mode, the TEXT2/TEXT3/TEXT4
will be started, and the content of TEXT2/TEXT3/
TEXT4 will be displayed after the FUNCTION menu
disappears. When the set is in CCMUTE mode and the
sound is muted, the CCMUTE will display CC1 content.
Note: when the set has the OSD onscreen, the CCD function
will disappear and will reappear when the OSD moves
off screen.

L: This type of rated programs contain offensive language.
D: This type of rated programs contain dialogue with sexual content.
U.S.Movie Rating Chart
NR: This means movie is not rated yet. It is pending government rating approval.
G: General Audience- this type of movie rating means all ages admitted to see the movie.
PG: Parental Guidance Suggested- this type of movie rating means some material may
not be suitable for children.
PG-13: Parents Strongly Cautioned- this type of movie
rating means some material
may not be appropriate for children under 13.
R: Restricted- this type of movie rating means children under 17 of age requires to be
with parent or guardian.
NC-17: This type of movie rating means no one 17 and under admitted.
X: This type of movie rating means adults only.
Parental Guidance technology:
To understand clearly about TV programs rating codes, read the following list.
U.S. TV Program Ratings
NR: Not Rated- this means that programs are not rated or rating does not apply.
TV-Y: For all children- this type of rated programs are designed for a very young
audience, including children from ages 2-6.
TV-Y7: Directed for older children -this type of rated programs may include
comedic violence or mild physical, or may frighten children under the age of 7.
TV-G: General Audience- this type of rated programs contains little or no violence,
no strong language, and little or no sexual dialogue and situation.
TV-PG: Parental Guidance Suggested- this type of rated
programs may contain
limited violence, some suggestive sexual dialogue and situation, and rare language.
TV-14: Parents strongly cautioned- this type of rated programs may contain sexual
content, strong language and more intense violence .
PARENTAL CONTROL
CHANGE PASSWORD
1. Press CH+/- button to select CHANGE item.
2. Press VOL+/- button to enter INPUT PASSWORD.
3. Input any four digits that you can easily remember.
4. Input the new password again. Then the screen will
display CHANGE SUCCESS.
Note: Once you set the new password for the particular
channel, that channel will be blocked. This way you are
the only one who can access that channel.
PARENTAL GUIDANCE (P.G.) ON/OFF set
1.Press CH+/- button to select P.G. item.
2.Press VOL+/- button to select P.G. ON or OFF.
When BLOCKED is selected, the P.G. function
is activated. When you watch the TV RATING or
MOVIE RATING, the screen is blue and display the
rating that received; when UNBLOCK is selected,
the P.G. function will not be activated. At this
time the rating that set in TV RATING or MOVIE
RATING is not available.

You can connect outside signal source VCR, VCD,

Antenna Input
1.Connect the coaxial cable input to the back cable
input of the LCD.

1.Connect audio video output port on source to

1. Según la figura siguiente,ponga el control remoto con la cara abajo,
entonces abra la cubierta de apartamento de batería.

el interruptor en el control remoto o el aparato TV
