Mounting instructions
1. Lay the snowmobile on its side for better access to
the shock absorber, spread out suitable material on
floor to protect the finish on the hood and belly pan.
2. Release the tension on the limiter straps (i.e. the belt
limiting front suspension travel upon rebound).
Please note the position on the nut, by measuring the
distance from the end of thread to the nut.
3. Remove upper and lower shock absorber bolt.
Remove the stock shock absorber.
4. Mount the Öhlins-shock absorber with the body
upwards and the gas valve pointing forwards. Mount
the shock absorber bolts.
6. Tension the limiter straps to the same position.
Check by measuring the distance from the end of
thread to the nut.
7. Make sure that all bolts are tightened.
1. Lägg snöskotern på sidan, för att lättare komma åt
stötdämparen. Lägg något lämpligt material på
golvet för att skydda lackeringen.
3. Släpp på balata remmens spänning. Notera
positionen på muttern genom att mäta avståndet från
gängans ände till muttern.
4. Demontera stdämparskruvarna och demontera
original stötdämparen.
5. Montera Öhlins stötdämparen med kolvstången
nedåt och gas nippeln uppåt-framåt. Montera
stötdämparskruvarna.
6. Sträck ballata remmen till samma läge som tidigare,
kontrollera genom att mäta avståndet från gängans
ände till muttern.
7. Se till att samtliga skruvar är åtdragna.
