Cleaning Kitt
Kitt and his cleaning cap are made
from antimicrobial plastic. This means
that that his body includes an active
ingredient which makes it effective
against microbial growth such as
mould, mildew and bacteria.
It is recommended that for surface
cleaning Kitt is wiped clean with a soft
damp cloth. Kitt must not be sprayed
directly or submerged in water.
When cleaning Kitt please ensure that his
teal cleaning cap is securely attached to
prevent water damage to his charging port
and switches.
Kitt’s teal cleaning cap can be hand washed and air dried if required. Please do not soak
the silicone cleaning cap for extended periods or use boiling water as this can cause
damage to the silicone.
Do not aggressively clean the transparent plastic over his face and camera,
as this could result in clouded photos.
Timer
Kitt’s timer can be
easily set within
the menu allowing
children to monitor
and plan their own
learning time.
Docking Station
• Kitt’s docking station can be wiped
clean with a soft dry cloth.
Transporting Kitt
Kitt can be safely transported between home and school in
his Kitt carry case or his original packaging.
• Kitt’s clothing can be machine washed
at 30 degrees.
• Kitt’s carry case can be wiped clean
with a damp cloth.
• Kitt’s whiteboards can be cleaned with
whiteboard cleaning solution.
Please be mindful not to place heavy objects
on top of Kitt or place him in a location that
could become wet.
Do not place him in a school or book bag
without protection. Always be mindful to
protect Kitts face and camera when in transit.
