product. Kellfris equipment and products are aimed to be use by active farmers with high
demands on functionality.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Versatile band saw with bed sections
Electric-powered sawmill with bed sections that are simple to put together for the required
length of timber. The timber is held in place with a clamp.
Water-cooled band saw blade for long service life and with roller blade guides, service-friendly
with protected construction. Powerful electric motor with power transmission via belt, quiet
and eco-friendly operation.
Make the bed completely level, adjusting with the adjustable feet, to give you a band saw with
high dimensional accuracy and capacity to saw high-grade construction timber as required.
Millimetre adjustment of timber thickness.

PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION
Read the instructions carefully before using the machine. The machine may only be used
as described in this manual.
It is prohibited to start re near the machine.
Fire extinguisher class ABC should always be kept easily accessible near the machine.
Warning! Keep in mind when using this equipment that it can create sparks that can ig-
nite re around dry vegetation.
Never leave the machine with the engine running. Always switch o the engine and pull
out the plug when leaving the equipment - even for a short while.
The machine may only run on 3-phase 400V grounded jack with 32A fuse. The outlet must
be installed by a qualied electrician.
For your and others’ safety, make sure that the machine is connected to a grounded sock-
et.
Keep the work area free from bystanders, moving parts increase the risk of accidents.
Avoid using / storing the machine where it get exposed to rain or moisture.
Make sure the work area is well-lit.
Do not use electrical machines near ammable gases or liquids.
Children should never stay in the work area, never allow children to handle machine,
tools or extension cables.
The machine works best and safest when it is used in the capacity it is intended for, do not
try by any means to increase the machines capacity.
Stand rmly and do not stretch over the machine when it is running.
Check the wires and extension cables at regular intervals, to ensure that it remain undam-
aged
Unplug the power cord when the machine is not in use and when performing service.
Make sure the power switch is turned o (OFF mode) before plugging the machine
Do not move the machine whilst it is running.
Never leave the machine unattended whilst it is running. During operation, only the op-
erator is allowed to be in the vicinity of the machine.
Keep the workplace clean and free of obstacles to minimize the risk of accidents. Lying
debris or other materials that may be in the way during operation may result in accidents.
Only the operator may be near the machine during work. Risk zone 5 m around the ma-
chine. The machine is made for solitary work only
Do not force the saw, push the cutting unit as slowly as possible to get the best results.
Do not use the machine if large vibration occurs, stop the machine immediately and
check the error, correct the fault before reusing the machine.
Do not change engine settings unless engine manufacturer told so.
Install the machine on a at surface.
Persons with pacemaker should consult their physician before using a machine. Electro-
magnetic elds near a pacemaker can cause pacemaker disorders or pacemakers fail to
function. Caution is required when working near the magnetic eld of the engine
Be sure to keep the balance and stand still while driving to get better control of the equip-
ment in unexpected situations
The engine must not be covered during operation. Keep the equipment surrounding
clean and free from obstacles and other objects.
Keep your hands and feet away from rotating parts, never bend over the saw belt!

Keep cell phone or emergency phone available specially when working alone. First aid kit and
re extinguishers must be kept easily accessible during all work, maintenance and service.

Make sure that the warning labels are always visible, clean the warning labels if necessary. Do
not wash with high pressure washer directly on the warning label. If any part of the decal is
worn or label becomes frayed or otherwise unreadable, order new labels.

PERSONAL PROTECTION
Always wear suitable clothing and footwear. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry when us-
ing the machine. Remember to put up long hair when operating machines with rotating parts.
Wear protective gloves, to prevent burn injuries on contact with hot surfaces such as exhaust
system, and to avoid oil and gasoline on the skin. Hearing protection should be used when
the engine is running.
SURROUNDINGS
Make sure your working area is clear from people, children and objects before installing and
using the machine. Risk of serious injuries can occur during operation.
Take an extra caution when children are in the area where the equipment/ product is being
use or stored. Check the area for low hanging electrical wires. Be careful when working on
slopes and near ditches.
Always work alone with single - purpose products such as this product. Never have junk lying
in your area. Keep working areas clean. Always respect the risk zone.

USE
Only people who understand the safety information and instructions in this manual may op-
erate the equipment. Be alert and careful when working with the machine and only use the
tool or product in the manner described in this manual. When working with equipment that
has moving parts, there is always the risk of injury. Be careful when working with equipment
equipped with hydraulic hoses ,oil under pressure can penetrate the skin. Seek medical at-
tention immediately if this occurs. Always work alone with the tools that are dened as single
purpose tools. Respect the equipment’s danger zone.
Be aware that dierent parts of the machine may be hot after use
STARTING THE ENGINE
1. Read and understand engine manual before using the machine
2. Observe all safety precautions: Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.
3. Ensure that bystanders are at a safe distance from the machine.
4. Connect the machine to a grounded socket. Make sure that the machines power switch is
o to avoid unexpected start of the machine.

5. Turn the power switch to ON. Ready to use. If the ma-
chine doesn’t start at once emergency stop is not
pressed
6. The electrical motor starts as soon as both green but-
tons are pressed. NOTE! Both buttons must be hold
press for the blade to start and keep running. The mo-
tor turns o automatically when one of the button is
not released.
SECURE THE LOG ON THE RAIL
1.) Roll the log up towards the stop.
2) Lock the log onto the log support,
ensure that the log cannot come
loose during operation
3.) Set the desired cutting height
using the height adjustment crank,
use measurement scale
SAWING:
1.) When the band saw has come up
to the correct speed Move the saw
carriage forward and cut o the sap-
wood, Remove the sapwood and
pull back the carriage to the starting
position
2) Loosen the log, turn it 180 °, and
secure the log, push the saw carriage forwards and cut o the sapwood.
3.) Loosen the log and turn it 90 ° Set the desired cutting height using the height adjustment
crank and trolley forward. Do the same procedure on the last side of the log
4.) When all sides are at, cut up the log in the desired thickness according to previous instruc-
tions.
Remember to compensate for the thickness of the bandsaw blade for each adjustment of the
height of the bandsaw blade.
RETIGHETEN THE BOLTS AND NUTS AFTER 2 HOURS OF OPERATION!

AFTER USE
Turn o the engine and clean the bandsaw from sawdust, sand or dirt
TRANSPORT AND STORING
Make sure there are no people, children and foreign objects around the area before transport-
ing the machine. Always take an extra caution during the transport. Ensure that the product
is well secured and that transport brackets are mounted. Always place the load as low as pos-
sible. Respect the danger zone even during transport. When lifting the equipment, never go
underneath suspended loads. Trailer used for transport should have working brakes.
Always store the machine in a dry place preferably underneath a cover when not in use. Ensure
that the product is stable and not likely to tip over. Never let children play where the machine
is being stored. Always keep in mind the risk of tipping!
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Replace damaged or worn parts immediately to reduce the risk of damage. Perform mainte-
nance, servicing and inspections as recommended. Use only original replacement parts or
spare parts with equivalent performance to reduce the risk of damage. All repairs and connec-
tions with electricity must be performed by a qualied person. Always follow the maintenance
safety regulations according to schedule. Particularly important for the bandsaw and safety
equipment, bearing in mind the danger it means if they come loose during operation.
For your safety! many maintenance procedure inclusive those that are not described in this
manual should be performed by a qualied technician. If there is any doubt at maintenance
and service, please contact a qualied mechanic / technician.
Regularly check the condition of the machine before the failure is a fact.
If cracks, twisting, bending, gaps or fatigue is discovered stop the operation and rectify
the error. Worn parts should be replaced.
Re-tighten all nuts and bolts after a few hours of driving, and after a day of runtime.
Avoid using the equipment at temperatures higher than + 30C.
Check all bolts and nuts are tightened after maintenance and service. Always test the
machine before work is started.
Lubricate moving parts regularly. For maintenance of the engine, see the separate man-
ual.

Inspection
It is very important to regularly check the machine, in order to detect and prevent
wear and tear, damage, etc.
WARNING! ALWAYS STOP THE ENGINE BEFORE STARTING MAINTENANCE /SERVICE.
TO AVOID UNEXPECTED START, TURN OFF THE ENGINE AND PULL OUT THE CORD
Never use damaged machine to avoid injuries. If excessive vibration or
smoke occurs, stop immediately and inspect the machine. Fix the problem
before the machine is used again.
LUBRICATION OF THE MACHINE:
Lubricate Band wheel shafts with grease and lubricate the stabilizer bars for raising and
lowering of the carriage and the crankshaft with oil before each use.
Lubricate the tension handles with grease once a month
Before storing the machine, it might be good to perform service to make sure that the
machine works the following season.
Paint the machine if needed, to prevent rusting
Check if the machine is damaged, tighten all bolts and nuts
Lubricate all grease ttings and joints
Store in a dry, clean place, cover for extra protection
Oil the blades and fasteners to prevent rust.
INSPECTION OF BELT
First control and tensioning of the belt shall be done after 1 hour of driving to be sure that the
belt is properly tensioned. Check the belt regularly and tighten as necessary. Correct belt ten-
sion; the pressure belt should be moved 20 mm (10 mm on each side).

. Remove all packaging materials, put the cutting head unit standing on a straight surface
as gure shows below. Ensure that it cannot tip.
. Mount  pcs of square tube into the unit, right and left side. Loosen the locking handle
when installing the tubes.

. Install the feet onto the square tube left and right side of the cutting head unit. Loosen
the bolts using a mm wrench. Make sure you mount them correctly

. Mount the stabilizer’s frame behind the cutting head unit and the stabilizers undeneath
(g A), install the winch above the cutting head unit (g. B). the electrical box is mounted
on the stabilizers frame (g C) ensure that the cables aren’t pulled to hard or get pinch.

. Install the wire behind the cutting head unit se pictures below. Crank the down the winch
so that the wire get all the way pulled out, crank up the winch again so that the wires rolls
up neatly on rod.
. Adjust the unit so that it is straight. Crank up the unit until theres tension on the wire. Use
a spirit level to check if the unit is straight and which side needs to be djusted if necessary.
Tighten all bolts and fastenings.
Crank up the winch down and up again un-
til the wire is rolled neatly on the rod. Use
a spirit level to check the level of the unit.
If the unit is not straight. Adjust the position
by adjusting the bolts.na

. Mount the measurement scale on the stabilizing frame.
. Assemble the water tank, accordning to the pictures below. The copper pipe which is
located on the ending of the water hose is mounted underneath the cutter head unit.
The copper pipe should point to the blade so that the water beam hits the blade during
operation. Take caution when tightening the bolt that holds the copper pipe in place.

. Follow the steps
a.) Place the rails on a at surface. The rail consists of  sections (delivered as standard). Line up
the sections and assemble them together as a trail for the cutting head unit. Mount the stabi-
lizers in between the  sections - do not tighten the bolts yet (sew pictures below)
b.) Assemble the crank handle. The crank is removable and placed where appropriate

c.) Install the metal stop at the ending of the rail.
d.) Mount the log support where it is appropriate. The long log support is appropriate for big
logs and the small ones for smaller logs.
e.) Lubricate threads and locking pins.

f.) Mount the rail feet on the side of the rails. The rail has  holes for the assembly of rail feet
g.)Mount the connecting plate of the for the  section outer side of the rail, do not tighten the
bolts yet.
h.) Lift the cutting head unit onto the rail. Warning! The saw mills cutting head is very heavy, be
cautious when lifting the unit. This step is required to be done by at least  people.
i.) After installing the unit onto the rail, push the unit forward to check if it rolls smoothly,
adjust the feet or the position of the section if necessary before tightening all bolts. Check the
joint points of the rail, make sure that the sections are aligned with each other before tighten-
ing all bolts.
