High Temperature Silicone (500°F).
Installing the Top Vent Adapter
1. Put a layer of high temperature silicone on the 3 inch
(76mm) exhaust outlet. Do not put silicone inside of pipe
(Figure 1).

2. Slide the Top Vent Adapter Assembly (C1) onto the rear
exhaust outlet and adjust the assembly to a vertical
position (Figure 1).
3. Drill four (4) holes with #26 Drill Bit (C2) into the back of
the appliance using the outer shield as a pattern (make
sure the assembly is vertical) (Figure 2).

(1) Top Vent Adapter Assembly (C1)
(1) #26 Drill Bit (C2)
(6) 8-32 x 3/8 inch Screws (C3)

screws, 2 on each side

4. Install four (4) mounting 8-32 x 3/8 inch Screws (C3)
using a Phillips head screwdriver.
5. Drill two (2) holes with #26 Drill Bit (C2) through the rear
exhaust outlet using the two (2) holes already in the short
horizontal pipe in the Top Vent Adapter Assembly (C1) as
a guide. Install with two (2) 8-32 x 3/8 inch Screws (C3)
(Figure 1 on page 1).
6. Install the vent pipe into the Top Vent Adapter Assembly
(C1) (be sure to silicone all joints).
NOTE: Appliance adapter from venting manufacture may
be required.
NOTICE: Do not apply silicone inside appliance exhaust
outlet.
7. To clean the Top Vent Adapter Assembly (C1) open the
clean-out cover (Figure 2).
