4 Charging of Devices with the Power Bank PS-KP
4.1 USB-Output (3)
All devices with USB cable can be charged via the USB connection (3) with 5V/2A.
With the 3-in-1 charging cable included in the delivery, all digital devices with a Micro-USB
connection, Lightning plug and USB-C connector can be charged. This includes Mobil Timing
MT1, Teledata Ted2 or Printer P6-USB.
Connect consumer devices (e.g. Mobile Timing MT1) to USB output (3).
Briefly press the on button (6).
As long as power is being drawn, the charge status of the battery is indicated by the
blue LED (1).
If the device is charged or if it is separated from the PS-KP, the LED will switch off.
In the event of an overload or short circuit, the PS-KP switches off.
Both USB outputs (3) and (4) can be used simultaneously.

4.2 Output 12 V (9)
12 V products from ALGE-TIMING, such as Timy3, OP-TIc3, D-LINE, can be operated via
the Output 12 V/10A (9).
Connect consumers (e.g. OPTIc3) to the 12 V output (9).
The consumer device is connected directly to the PS-KP battery (it is not neces-
sary to switch it on, the LED for the battery indicator only lights up for 30 seconds
if you press the on switch (6) briefly.
Note: Devices such as 12V-compressors, 12V-fans or 12V-vacuum cleaners must ensure that
their starting current does not exceed 10 A. If the starting current is exceeded, the safety func-
tion of the PS-KP switches the device off. This technical information can be found in the in-
structions or requested from the respective manufacturer.
4.2.1 Standard Cable for 12 V
The 12V-cable 328-2 (24 cm long) and an extension cable is
included in the set of the PS-KP.

Notebooks and laptops can be charged via the Output 19V/3.5A (8). All standard adapters
are included in the 8-piece adapter set, including the adapter cable.
Attention: This socket is sealed with a cover so that a 12V device from ALGE-TIMING will
not be charged with 19V volt and accidentally destroyed.
5 LED-Light
The PS-PK has a built-in LED-light with various functions:
Press the power button for 3 seconds: steady light (flashlight function)
Then briefly press the power button: flashing
Then briefly press the power button: SOS (3 x short, 3 x long in succession)
Then briefly press the on button: the light is switched off

5.1 Jump Start for Cars (2)
The PS-KP can also be used to start cars with dead batteries.
The jump start process may take a maximum of 10 seconds. Then the PS-KP has to cool
down for 30 seconds. If these values are not observed, the device or parts of it can be
destroyed.
If the engine does not start after 3 attempts, you should look for the cause of the fault on the
vehicle before making further starting attempts.
Connect the jump starter with the blue plug to the PS-KP.
Caution: make sure it is firmly seated and push the socket in completely!
Connect the red clamp to the car battery (+).
Connect the black clamp to the car battery (-).
When the green LED on the jumper cable lights up, you can start the engine.
If the red LED on the jumper cable lights up and a warning buzzer can be heard, then
the battery has the wrong polarity and the red and black clamps on the battery must be
swapped.
If the green LED on the jumper cable flashes and the warning buzzer sounds, the car
battery is completely empty. In this case, the boost button on the charging cable must be
pressed and started within 30 seconds. Pay attention to a maximum start time of 10 sec-
onds / 30 seconds break! In this situation, the PS-PK has a strong load.
No LED display and no warning buzzer: Either the connection to the car battery termi-
nal is not tight enough or the battery is completely discharged or defective. Proceed as
above (green LED flashes).
Attention - Warning:
Do not touch the clamps while the "Boost" button is pressed. There is a strong formation of
sparks and there is a risk of explosion. The device will be destroyed.
6 Reset of the Power Bank PS-KP
If the output 12V/10A (9) and the output 19V/3.5A (8) are overloaded, the PS-KP automati-
cally switches off the respective output for its own protection. In order to reset the device, a
voltage must be present at the 14V/1A charging socket (7) (connect the power pack).
If no charging voltage is available (e.g. when using outdoors), proceed as follows:
Connect the jumper clamps to the cigarette lighter cable. The black terminal clamp (-)
is connected to the outside of the ground connection of the plug from the cigarette
lighter cable and the red terminal clamp (+) is connected in the middle to the positive
pole of the plug.
Briefly press the Boost button. The flashlight flashes and the blue LEDs confirm the
reset from the device.
Attention: Caution is advised, as the terminal clamps have voltage and damage
and sparks can occur in the event of a short circuit.

7 Maintenance and Care
Before use, check the PS-KP including accessories and cables for damage. If a damage is
found, the device must not be put into operation.
Storage:
Disconnect the device from the charging cable or the 230 Volt mains adapter. Occasionally
you can wipe the PS-KP with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or harsh cleaning
supplies. With the cable disconnected, clean the pole terminals at the contact points with a
brush and lightly grease them.
Charge the device at regular intervals as described several times.
If the PS-KP is discharged below a critical value during storage, a protective circuit ensures
that charging is no longer possible. The device is therefore irreparably defective and must be
disposed of. This process is verifiable and is not covered by the guarantee
8 Causes of Errors
No blue LED lights up after switching on: The battery is not charged and the PS-KP
must be charged immediately with the 230V mains adapter!
PS-KP gets hot during operation: If the maximum performance of the PS-KP is re-
quired, the device heats up. If 2 USB consumers are connected, then remove one. If a
notebook is being operated, remove the notebook's battery, this reduces the power
consumption to the pure operating consumption of the notebook without charging the
battery.
The 230V power supply can also heat up during operation. This is permissible as long
as the device is slightly more than lukewarm. If it gets hot, it should be unplugged im-
mediately and allowed to cool down. Due to overload, never put the 230V mains
adapter into operation and connect consumers to the device at the same time. If the
charger gets hot despite these measures, there is a defect and the charger must be
disconnected from the 230 Volt mains voltage and replaced.
The device cannot be charged via the cigarette lighter: Check the fuse in the charging
cable plug (unscrew the tip of the plug. Pull out the fuse (type F2A, 5 x 20 mm)).
