1 About this document
1.1 Function of this document
This document supplements the FLOWSIC600-XT Operating Instructions and is to be used
only in combination with the Operating Instructions.
1.2 Scope of application
This Addendum to the Operating Instructions describes the FLOWSIC600-XT with remote
Signal Processing Unit (SPU) for extended temperature range. It is not applicable for other
SICK measuring devices.
The extended temperature range is marked in the model name as follows:
F6I-******-****-****
The content of the FLOWSIC600-XT Operating Instructions applies as long as not described
differently in this Addendum.

3 Extended temperature range
3.1 Product description
The FLOWSIC600-XT in its special low- or high-temperature version has been designed for
measuring the boil-off gas in LNG facilities down to -196 °C (-320 °F) or hot gases up to
230 °C (446 °F).

3.2 Mounting
The SPU electronics is to be installed approx. 1 m away from the device next to it.
3.3 Technical data
