Theseadjustmentstellhe AVR125 whichtypeof
speakersareinuse.Thisisimportantasitadjustshe
settingshat determinewhichspeakersreceivelow-
frequency(bass)information.Foreachoftheseset-
tingsusetheL ARGE settingif he speakersfora
particularpositionaretraditionalfull-rangeloudspeak-
ersthatarecapableofreproducingsoundsbelow
lOOHz.Usehe SMAL L settingfor smaller,fre-
quency-limitedsatellitespeakersthatdonotreproduce
soundsbelowlOOHz.Notethatwhen"small"speak-
ersareused,asubwooferisrequiredtoreproduce

youhearsoundtracksintheirproperplacewiththe
properdirectionalityandintensity.
IMPORTANTNOTE:Listenersareoftenconfused
abouttheoperationofthesurroundchannels.While
someassumethatsoundshouldalwaysbecoming
fromeachspeaker,mostofthetimetherewillbelittle
ornosoundinthesurroundchannels.Thisisbecause
