- Before using your water dispenser, please read the instructions in this manual carefully.
- When unpacking the product, please ensure that the BARAO is not damaged. If the drinks
dispenser seems to be defective, please contact the After-Sales Service.
- You must scrupulously observe the following instructions. We decline any responsibility and
rescind any guarantee in the event of non-observance of these instructions, which can cause
material damage or physical injury.
- Before using your dispenser for the first time, we recommend that you service the circuit and all
the receptacles (see the "Maintenance Instructions" section)
We strongly recommend that you avoid using the BARAO with fizzy drinks.
If you are using the BARAO as a dispenser of infusions (tea, tisanes, etc), we recommend that you
use a filter. The dispenser must be regularly serviced (see the "Maintenance Instructions" section).
We would strongly advise against using the appliance with drinks with a high sugar content (fruit
juice, syrups, aperitifs, etc.), which would damage the system and cause hygiene concerns inside
the refrigerator.
The BARAO is a system that enables you to
serve cold drinks at any time of day without
opening the door of your refrigerator, thereby
saving on energy consumption. You do not
need a water connection to use your
appliance.
The unit is totally integrated into your refriger-
ator's door and consists of the following three
main elements:
- A reservoir (in the inner door)
- A water dispenser (on the front surface)
- The distribution circuit (fixed on the door)
Reservoir
The reservoir consists of (drawing 1):
- A receptacle (E)
- A cover (I)
- A valve with spring and ring (D)
- A filter holder (H)
- A filter (G) for purifying the tap water (sup-
plied separately from your After-sales Service
or your authorized Clearit distributor).
- The filter must be changed after one month's
use.

You do not need to use the filter if you fill the
reservoir with bottled water.
The reservoir can either be filled directly in the
inner door or by removing it to fill it with
running water.
If you use Barao with running water, we
recommend that you use a filter (supplied
separately from your After-sales Service or
your authorized Clearit distributor).
The filter must be changed after one
month's use.
- Insert the filter in the holder (drawing 4).
- Insert the holder in the reservoir (drawing 4).
You can fill the reservoir directly in the door
without removing it if you use a bottle or under
the tap by removing the reservoir as shown in
the drawing 5.
- Remove the cover (drawing 5).
- Fill via the top part of the reservoir and wait
for the water to pass completely through the
filter and then continue filling.
- Replace the cover over the reservoir. Fit the
reservoir in its holder taking care to position
the valve correctly.
To fill the reservoir directly in the door, remove
the cover by pulling on the two side pieces
(drawing 6).
- Fill the reservoir.
- Refit the cover.
To serve yourself with a drink, press a glass or
a carafe under the dispenser and push
upwards slightly (drawing 7).
