1 APPLICATION
This filter, when used with the Savage A40 PAPR system as part of an approved system,
conforms to the requirements of Title42, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 84(42CFR84).
The complete equipment can be used in an environment that requires a breathing protection
device. The complete equipment protects against particulate contamination.
The operating temperature range of the filter is -5to+55℃.
It should be used together with:

See figure 1 in the following chapter.

Clean or replace the spark arrestor if necessary.
• Insert the spark arrestor (2) in the filter
cover (1)
• Place the pre-filter (3) on top of spark
arrestor (2).

• Place the filter (4) into the above
combination.
• Click the above combination into the
turbo unit (5).
1.2 STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Do not store outside the temperature range: -10to+55℃ or in relative humidity greater
than90%.
1.3 MARKING
The filter is marked according to the requirements of Title42, Code of Federal Regulations,
Part84 (42CFR84)

WARNING!
Only the particle filter and pre-filter manufactured by ESAB can be used together
with this system. Filters from other manufacturers should under no circumstances
be used.
Do not use the filter if the packaging bag is damaged or the filter has been exposed
to air or exceeded the allowed period of use, which is marked in the filter sticker.
