1) Screwcentercolumnontocouplingontopofxturebody.
2) TURNOFFPOWER.
IMPORTANT:Beforeyoustart,NEVERattemptanywork
withoutshuttingofftheelectricityuntiltheworkisdone.
a) Gotothemainfuse,orcircuitbreaker,boxinyour
home.Placethemainpowerswitchinthe“OFF”position.
b) Unscrewthefuse(s),orswitch“OFF”thecircuitbreaker
switch(s),thatcontrolthepowertothextureorroom
thatyouareworkingon.
c) Placethewallswitchinthe“OFF”position.Ifthexture
tobereplacedhasaswitchorpullchain,placethosein
the“OFF”position.
3) Assemblemountingscrewsintothreadedholesinmounting
strap.
4) Attachmountingstraptooutletbox.(Screwsnotprovided).
5) Weaveelectricalwireandgroundwirethroughchainlinksno
morethan3inchesapart.thenthroughloopandinto
canopy.
6) Groundinginstructions:(SeeIllus.AorB).
A) Onxtureswheremountingstrapisprovidedwitha
holeandtworaiseddimples.Wrapgroundwirefrom
outletboxaroundgreengroundscrew,andthreadintohole.
B) Onxtureswhereacuppedwasherisprovided.Attach
groundwirefromoutletboxundercuppedwasherand
greengroundscrew,andthreadintomountingstrap.
Ifxtureisprovidedwithgroundwire.Connectxture 
groundwiretooutletboxgroundwirewithwireconnector
(notprovided.)afterfollowingtheabovesteps.Never
connectgroundwiretoblackorwhitepowersupplywires.
7) Makewireconnections(connectorsnotprovided).Reference
chartbelowforcorrectconnectionsandwireaccordingly.
8) Pushxturetoceiling,carefullypassingmountingscrews
throughholesincanopy.
9) Securexturetoceilingwiththreadedballs.
10) Setglassdiffuserdownoversocketandscrewsocket
ringontosocket.
11) Insertrecommendedbulb.CAUTION: DONOTtouchbulb
withbarehands.Ifthishappens,cleanbulbwithdenatured
alcoholandalintfreecloth.
12) Slipglasssleeveoverbulb.
13) Setshadedownontoglassdiffuser.

superiordelcuerpodelartefacto.
2) APAGARLAALIMENTACIÓNDEENERGIEELÈTRICA.
IMPORTANTE:Antesdecomenzar,NUNCAtratedetrabajar
sinantesdesconectarlacorrientehastaqueeltrabajosetermine.
a) Vayaalacajaprincipaldefusibles,ointerruptorocaja
decircuitosdesucasa.Coloqueelinterruptordela
corrienteprincipalenposicióndeapagado“OFF”.
b) Desatornilleel(los)fusible(s),ocoloqueelinterruptoro
interruptoresdelbreakerenposicióndeapagado“OFF”,
quecontrola(n)lacorrientehaciaelartefactoo
habitacióndondeestátrabajando.
c) Coloqueelinterruptordeparedenposicióndeapagado
“OFF”.Sielartefactoquesevaareemplazartieneun
interruptorocadenaquesejala,colóquelosenla
posicióndeapagado“OFF”.
3) Instalelostornillosdemontajeenlosagujerosroscados,enla
abrazaderademontaje.
4) Unalaabrazaderademontajealacajadesalida.(Nose 
proveetornillos.)
5) Paseelalambreeléctricoyelalambredeconexiónatierraa
travésdeloseslabonesdelacadena,conunmáximode3
pulgadasdeseparación,luegoatravésdelanilloyenel
escudete.
6) Instruccionesdeconexiónatierrasolamenteparalos 
EstadosUnidos.(VealailustracionAoB).
A) Enlaslámparasquetieneneleje,demontajeconun
agujeroydoshoyuelosrealzados.Enrollarelalambrea
tierradelacajatomacorrientealrededordeltornillo
verdeypasarloporelaquiero.
B) Enlaslámparasconunaarandelaacopada.Fijarel
alambreatierradelacajatomacorrientedelajodela
arandelaacoadaytornilloverde,ypaserporelejede
montaje.
Silalámparavieneconalambreatierra.Conecterel
alambreatierradelalámparaalalambreatierradelacaja
tomacorrienteconunconectordealambres(noincluido)
espuésdeseguirlospasosanteriores.Nuncaconectarel
alambraatierraalosalambreseléctrosnegrooblanco.
7) Hagalesconexionesdelosalambres(noseproveenlos
connectores.)Latabladereferenciadeabajoindicalas
conexionescorrectasylosalambrescorrespondientes.

lostornillosdemontajeatravésdelosagujerosenel
escudete.
9) Aprieteelartefactoalcielorasoconlasbolasroscadas.
10) Pongaeldifusordevidrioabajo,encimadelcasquilloy
atornilleelanillodelcasquilloenelcasquillo.
11) Insertelabombillarecomendada.PRECAUCIÓN:NOtoque
labombillaconlasmanossinguantes.Siestosucede,limpie
labombillaconalcoholdesnaturalizadoyunatelasinpelusas.
12) Resbalelacamisadevidriosobrelabombilla.
13) Pongalapantallaabajo,encimadeldifusordevidrio.
