GENERAL INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the SYTECH SY-1480 telephone. This model adapts the
up-to-the-minute integrated circuit, with superior craftwork and stable capability.
Please read the manual carefully for proper use.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION
When using your Sytech telephone, please follow these basic safety precautions
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
1. Read and understand all instructions.
2. Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the products.
3. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid
cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
4. Do not use this product near water (for example, near a bath tub, kitchen sink
or swimming pool).
5. Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, or table. The product may
fall, causing serious damage to the product.
6. Never spill liquids on the product.
7. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble this product. If service
or repair work is required, contact Sytech Hotline Service Centre for a proper
solution.
8. Do not use the telephone to report a gas leak in the vicinity of the leak.

OPERATION
1) Preparation
1.1 Connect the line plugs into your phone line jack and the other plug into the wall
jack.
1.2 Insert the handset coil cord into the phone jack at the bottom.
1.3 Set the dial mode according to local network, while T refers to Tone dialing and
P refers to pulse dialing.
2) Receiving
As it rings, pick up the handset from the cradle to answer. Place it back to the
cradle to hang up when the conversation is over.
3) Dialing
To dial a number, pick up the handset and dial the desired number. A dialing tone
is heard while dialing. When you hear the long tone like “do—do”, the line has got
through. If you hear the short tone like “do... do... do”, busy tone. You can press
the hook switch and press REDIAL to dial it out once more the same number. You
can repeat the above process until getting through the line.
4) Redial
Pick up the handset and press the REDIAL button. The unit will redial the last
number automatically.
5) Pause
The PAUSE key is used for inserting a 3.6 seconds pause in the dialing process. If
you want to dial out from the extension phone, press PABX code (normally “0” or
“9”) + PAUSE + desired number, then you can just press the FLASH key and
press REDIAL to dial out again when the dialed number is busy.
6) Flash
When you dial a number and the line is busy, press FLASH key and then press
REDIAL key to dial it out again.
7) Pulse/Tone
Slide the mode switch to T for tone dialing while P for pulse dialing accordingly.
8) Mute
The MUTE function allows you to disable the MIC at any moment during a
conversation. While on the phone, simply press and hold the MUTE key. This will
deactivate the MIC and the other end will not be able to hear your internal
conversation. To return to the normal conversation mode with the other end,
simply release the MUTE key.
9) Wall Mountable
The SY-1480 telephone can be used as wall mounted or as desktop.

10) Ringing volume
The SY-1480 includes two levels for the volume ring control: HI & LO can be
selected. If you do not wish to be disturbed, switch the ring button located at the
bottom of the unit to LO position, the ringing volume will be low.
11) P-T key function
In Pulse Dialing mode, if you wish to use the Tone Dialing mode during dialing,
simply press the P-T key. This function is used for special services that need a
tone dialing mode. The unit will return to Pulse Dialing mode when it has been
hung.
12) New call LED indicator
When a call is coming in the RING LED will flash.

INTRODUCCIÓN GENERAL
Gracias por comprar el teléfono SYTECH SY-1480. Lea el manual atentamente
para utilizar el aparato adecuadamente. Guarde este manual para futuras
consultas.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Cuando utilice su teléfono Sytech, siga estás precauciones de seguridad básicas
para reducir el riesgo de incendio, electroshock o lesiones a personas.
1. Lea y comprenda todas las instrucciones.
2. Siga todas las advertencias e instrucciones marcadas en los productos.
3. Desconecte este producto de la toma de corriente antes de limpiarlo. No utilice
limpiadores líquidos o en aerosol. Utilice un paño suave para limpiar.
4. No utilice este producto cerca del agua (por ejemplo, cerca de una bañera,
fregadero o piscina).
5. No coloque este producto sobre una mesa, estante o soporte no estable. El
producto se puede caer, dañándose gravemente.
6. Nunca vierta líquidos sobre el producto.
7. Para reducir el riesgo de electroshock, no desmonte el aparato. Si es
necesaria una reparación, contacte con la Línea del Centro de Reparaciones
de Sytech para que lo solucionen.
8. No utilice el teléfono para informar una fuga de gas cerca de la fuga.

USO
1) Preparación
1.1 Conecte la toma de línea a su clavija de línea de teléfono y el otro extremo a la
clavija de la pared.
1.2 Introduzca el cable en espiral del auricular en la clavija de teléfono de la parte
inferior.
1.3 Establezca el modo de marcación según la red local, donde T se refiere a
marcación por Tono y P se refiere a marcación por Pulsos.
2) Recepción
Mientras suena, descuelgue el auricular de su soporte para contestar. Vuelva a
colocarlo en el soporte para colgar cuando termine la conversación.
3) Marcación
Para marcar un número, descuelgue el auricular y marque el número deseado. Se
escucha un tono de marcación cuando está marcando. Cuando escuche un tono
largo como “do---do", la línea está llamando. Si escucha un tono corto como “do…
do… do”, la línea está ocupada. Puede presionar el interruptor de gancho y
presionar REDIAL para volver a marcar el mismo número. Puede repetir el
proceso anterior hasta que tenga la línea despejada.
4) Volver a marcar
Descuelgue el auricular y presione el botón REDIAL. La unidad volverá a marcar
el último número automáticamente.
5). Pausa
El botón PAUSA se utiliza para introducir una pausa de 3,6 segundos en el
proceso de llamada. Si desea marcar desde el teléfono de extensión, presione el
código PABX (normalmente “0” o “9”) + PAUSA + número deseado, entonces,
puede presionar el botón FLASH y presione REDIAL para volver a marcar cuando
el número marcado esté ocupado.
6) Parpadeo
Cuando marque un número y la línea esté ocupada, presione FLASH y después
presione el botón REDIAL para volver a marcar.
7) Pulso/Tono
Deslice el interruptor de modo de T para marcar por tono a P para marcar por
pulso según el caso.
8) Silencio
La función de MUTE le permite desactivar el MICRÓFONO en cualquier momento
durante la conversación. Cuando esté al teléfono, simplemente mantenga
presionado el botón MUTE. Esto desactivará el MIC y el interlocutor no podrá
escuchar su conversación interna. Para volver al modo de conversación normal

con su interlocutor, simplemente suelte el botón de MUTE.
9) Montaje en pared
El teléfono SY-1480 se puede utilizar montado en pared o sobre escritorio.
10) Volumen de llamada
El SY-1480 incluye dos niveles para el control de volumen de llamada: Se puede
seleccionar HI y LO. Si no desea ser molestado, coloque el botón de llamada
situado en la parte inferior de la unidad en la posición LO. El nivel del timbre será
bajo. El nivel HI aumentara el timbre de su teléfono.
11) Función del botón P-T
SI esta en modo de Marcación por Pulso y desea marcar por Marcación por tono,
simplemente presione el botón P-T. Esta función se utiliza para servicios
especiales que necesitan un modo de marcación por tono. La unidad volverá al
modo Marcación por pulso cuando haya colgado.
12) Indicador LED de nueva llamada
Cuando entra una llamada, el LED de LLAMADA parpadea.

MEDIO AMBIENTE
