FILLING THE GUN
Push in the release plate at the back of the gun and pull the rod
back until the plunger is out of the barrel and remove barrel.
If the plunger sticks because it is dry just pour some water into
the barrel.
Attach the chosen nozzle: grey for fine joints and tile grouting;
black for large joints and brick pointing. Fill the barrel.
Replace the filled barrel and operate the trigger until the
plunger makes contact with the material. The gun is now ready
for use.
APPLYING THE MATERIAL
The Tuck Point works like a mastic gun. Apply steady pressure
on the trigger. The mechanism is powerful and does not
require a lot of force.
If the gun blocks, don’t force it. Pull the rod back and empty the
barrel.
Avoid mortar contaminating the mechanism by regularly
rinsing it clean.
If the material will still not flow properly, this may be due to:
- incomplete mixing
- sharp sand or gravel in the mix
- sand and cement premix separating in the bag. Ensure when
using a part-bag that dry materials are properly mixed.
ADJUSTING THE PLUNGER
The plunger is adjustable for wear. Tightening the nuts will
squeeze the rubber to tighten its fit in the barrel.
NOTE: If the plunger is difficult to move even when wet it may
be over-tightened. Loosening the nuts will solve this.
MAINTENANCE
Always wash the gun immediately after use, ensuring that no
grout/mortar remains in the mechanism. A light application of oil
to the mechanism afterwards will ensure reliable and
efficient performance.
COX offers a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship on all products. COX will repair or replace the product at our option, at no cost

1 Plastic Barrel.
2 Choice of taper-fit nozzles (both included).
3 Rubber plunger between steel plates - adjustable for optimum fit in barrel.
4 Contoured handle - eases dispensing and reduces operator fatigue.
5 Patented wear compensating device - eliminates free-play in trigger for
100% working action throughout the life of the gun.
6 Plunger rod and other drive components are case hardened for long life.
7 Projection welded steel frame - epoxy coated for high strength,
durability and corrosion resistance.
The Turbine High Speed Mixer offers efficient mixing achieved
through material spinning across a horizontal plate and
propelled through battlements where it is dispersed. For use in
electric or cordless drills, the Turbine offers a wide range of
uses from paint to concrete with minimal splattering.
