1. For REVOSHIFT/Fig.(1), turn the rotating part of the right shifter toward the
front wheel to return it to the initial position.
For a lever type/Fig.(2), operate the release lever that is in between the brake
lever and the handlebar 6 times or more to return it to the initial position.
2. Loosen the cover fixing screw and
remove the cover (A). Remove the
cover carefully and do not try to force
it off, otherwise the hooks that join the
cover to the body may become
broken.
3. When the cover is removed, the pulley
(B) will be visible, so after hooking the
ball (C) of the indicator cable into the
recess (D), run the cable along the
groove (E).
4. After this, pass the indicator cable
through the slit (G), and then screw in
the adjustment bolt (F) to adjust so
that the indicator and the number
match.
1. Push the surface with both thumbs as shown in the
illustration to remove the ID-TX50.
2. Remove the cover fixing screws and then remove the
cover, lens cover and indicator as shown in the
illustration.
3. Turn the pulley and remove the cable as shown in the
illustration.
Turn the pulley clockwise, and then insert the end of the
new cable until it is in the position shown in the illustration.
Install the indicator, lens cover and cover in that order.
