Theoperatorcandeterminewhentheoilreservoirisemptyintwoways:



1. VISUAL Becausetheplasticoiljugishangingfromthesideoftheunitandisvisually

available,theoperatorcan

simplyseethattheoilhasbeenexhaustedand

recognizethatitistimetochangetheoiljug.



2. SYSTEMALERT TheSystemwillalerttheoperatorwitha“Flashing”yellowlightthatwill

illuminateontheoperatorcontrolpanel.



ForsystemsthatDONOTINCLUDEanAUTO

OILER,theoperatorcan“Manually”oilthecuttinghead.

Toperformthistask,“Squirt”shredderlubricantonapieceofpaperasdemonstratedinthepicturebelow.

Covertheoiledsheetwithasecondsheetofpaper(ineffectcreatingan“oilsandwich”)andsimplyfeedthepaper

intothe

system.Theoilfromthesheetswillthenbedispersedontothecuttinghead.


