BMW 1er E87 Operating instructions

Hello! I've reviewed the provided mounting instructions for the BMW seat occupancy emulator and belt simulator. Mounting instruction for

Seat occupancy emulator BMW:

• 1 E87 2004 –

• 3 E90, E91, E92, E93 2004 -

The easiest way to mount our emulator is:

- Plug off your battery

- Please look for this connectors under your passenger seat:

- Plug off the connector of the seat mat

- Mount our emulator (the same connector) instead of your broken passenger seat mat. FINISH!

- In the next step you have to mount the belt-simulator (Gurt-Simulator). Please continue on page 2.

After correct installation you have to delete the fault-memory of your car in a garage. The garage must connect your car to

the “diagnostic-system”. After that the Airbag light goes off.

Important Information:

This emulator can be mounted instead of a passenger seat occupancy mat.

If it´s installed correctly, the airbag-system works fine and the passenger airbag will open in a accident.

The passenger-airbag opens also when the passenger seat is not occupied by a person!

SAFETY INFORMATION:

It´s not allowed mounting a child seat if the emulator is installed!!

The easiest way to install is under the passenger seat. Please search for this yellow connector and disconnect it:

Then pull off the 3 connectors (2x grey, 1x black):

Now we are looking for the grey connector like in the picture with “L-form”:

Pull off the 2 wires (black & red) with a screw and mount the belt-simulator (Gurt-Simulator) instead of it:

Now you are finished. You can mount the big yellow connector back like in the first step.

Don´t forget: “Click it or ticket”. It´s important to wear the seat belt!!! Don´t forget! It´s your safety!
