Molducem are decorative pieces for finishings and details of baseboards, cornices,
and casings which can be used as frames or finishings of doors, windows,
baseboards, cornices, or casings.

Simple Installation:
For installing Molducem moldings, you only need to have the basic right
tools: a circular saw or sharp saw, an angular guide or cutting template
made of wood, metal, or plastic, tape measure, hammer, screwdriver, and
a nail punch.
The fixing can be made with 1.2" steel nails -at least, in case the wall is
made of concrete. Place a nail every 23.8" by placing it on the flat side of
the molding. To avoid marks of the hammer head, leave the head at the
surface level and then hide it with the nail punch.
In cases of lightweight walls with wood or metal structures and sheating
panels, the molding is placed with Plycem fiber-cement screws -at leat 1.5
inches long (38 mm). The screw is placed every 23.8" -preferably matching
the post or stud of the structure. The head is filled with acrylic filler.
Another way of fixing the molding is by using adhesive or liquid nails. The
Sikaflex 221 is perfect for this application. The sealant beads are placed on
the back of the molding, which is placed on the wall and temporarily
holding it with screws, nails, or a press, and it is then adjusted to ensure
the effectiveness of the contact between the surfaces to be adhered.
