Ground Terminal

Connect a ground cable (not provided) from this terminal to the metal

surface at the back of the computer to eliminate humming noise.

OVERVIEW

ARCHITECTURE & FEATURES

Reverb Select / Reverb Amount

• Press knob once to adjust Reverb Amount

and Reverb Delay. Press again to adjust

Reverb and Auto-Tune.

• Rotate knob to select type of Reverb or

Reverb Amount.

SoundBoard Effect

• Press to enable SoundBoard Effect.

• Rotate knob to select sound clips

(1-Entrance, 2-Cheer, 3-Baby, 4-Laughter,

5-Gunshots, 6-Crow).

• Press knob to trigger the sound effects.

Reverb / Reverb Amount Display

• Shows selected reverb type or amount.

Reverb Delay / Auto-Tune Display

• Shows selected auto-tune key or reverb delay

amount.

Major/Minor Switch

• Switch to major or minor key.

Select Reverb Delay / Auto-Tune Key

• Press knob to switch between Reverb

Delay and Auto-Tune adjustment.

• Control the overall master volume output to

Headphones 1 & 2 Volume

• Control the playback volume of Headphones

1 and Headphones 2.

+48V Phantom Power*

• Provide +48V phantom power to both of the

XLR connectors for clearer, studio-grade

recording quality.

*Important: Phantom power is only applicable for condenser

microphones. Applying +48V on microphones that do not

support phantom power may damage such microphones.

Line In/Mobile In Volume

• Control the volume of Line In or Mobile In.

SoundBoard Switch

• Enable soundboard effects to enhance your

live broadcast.

• Once enabled, rotate knob to select sound

clips, and press knob to play the sounds.

Microphone 2 &

Guitar/Keyboard Volume

• Control the gain of Microphone 2 and Guitar/

Keyboard input (requires pre-amp).

Microphone 1 Volume

• Control the gain of Microphone 1.

Bass & Treble

• Add bass or treble to the microphone inputs.

Adjust Bass for a “thicker” or “thinner” vocal

or Treble for an “airy” or “breathy” vocal. 0

value is neutral.

Voice-Over Switch

• Suppress background music momentarily

while speaking through the microphones.

Music will return to original volume when

there’s no mic input.

The Sound Blaster K3+ supports up to 6 different usage scenarios, including

Music, Recording, Karaoke/Singing, DJ Hosting and Broadcasting! Features

and voice effects can be triggered and combined to produce the ideal recording

quality needed for your individual use case scenario.

Plug-and-Play with Phones, Tablets, PC and Mac

With no driver installation necessary, the Sound Blaster K3+ can be easily

connected using a 4-pole 3.5mm audio jack, giving you full control when using

streaming and recording apps on your smartphones or tablets. For PCs and

Macs, it is also incredibly simple via USB.

Crystal Clear Audio Playback

Audio quality is of the utmost priority when recording music or streaming

video. The Sound Blaster K3+ features a built-in high deﬁnition processor that

enables it to play audio crisp and crystal clear up to 24-bit/96kHz.

Audio Effects Processing in Real-Time

The Sound Blaster K3+’s powerful built-in audio processor allows users access

to real-time audio effects, including reverb, autotune and sound clips. These

sounds are available even on mobile devices.

Reverb

Choose from a total of 9 built-in reverb effects! You can further customize these

settings by adjusting the amount of reverb and the amount of delay.

Autotune

Turn on autotune for on-key singing from C major all the way to B minor.

Flexible Monitoring

Suitable for karaoke and singing, the K3+ gives you the ﬂexibility between

monitoring wet or dry recordings.

You can make tweaks to the audio, controlling the bass and treble settings

easily.

Independent Volume Control

The K3+ offers complete independent volume control for input and output

channels, so the volume can be changed easily while mixing.

Dedicated Mobile Out Volume Control

During live broadcast, easily control the overall master volume output to your

mobile device with just one knob. This gives you effortless control of the output

level to suit different device’s input sensitivity for optimum performance.

Voice-Over Function

Perfect for gaming streams and podcasts, the K3+’s Voice-Over function

suppresses background audio when you speak, so your voice is heard loud and

clear.

SoundBoard Clips

Enhance your live streaming with fun sound clips. The K3+ comes built-in with

6 sound effects such as Entrance, Cheer, Baby, Laughter, Gunshots, Crow that

can be easily selected and triggered anytime during streaming or broadcasting.

Incredibly Versatile Connectivity

The Sound Blaster K3+ was developed in part by a number of singers,

musicians, gamers, and audio engineers to understand various recording

needs, resulting in a practical, professional recording interface that boasts

incredible connectivity options.

XLR / TRS Combo Inputs and Outputs

The K3+ has two XLR / TRS combo inputs which are compatible with most

microphones in the market. There’s also a built-in microphone ampliﬁer that

delivers high quality voice output for live commentary or singing.

Phantom Power

The K3+ is capable of providing 48V phantom power to drive condenser

microphones for clear, studio-grade recording quality.

High Impedance Guitar Input

Directly connect a guitar with pick-up/ampliﬁer or an electric keyboard for an

added dimension to your live performance or recording.

The K3+ is capable of driving studio grade monitoring headphones, and you can

connect up to 2 headphones for separate monitoring of your live performances.

Line Output

4-Pole Mobile Input*

Play from and record simultaneously to your smartphone or tablet! Perfect

for Karaoke/Streaming apps like Smule, BeLive, and Loops, this feature is

supported via the mobile port with a 4-pole aux cable.

* The 4-pole input follows the AHJ or CTIA standard.
