INSTALLING/Replacing battery
If batteries are low, the smart thermometer device will display as
‘LO’ on display screen. Please replace with new battery.
1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of thermometer.
Remove by twisting counter-clockwise
2. Remove at battery and replace with a CR2032 coin cell
battery, matching the polarities (+/-).
3. Secure the battery compartment by twisting clock-wise. Press
RESET button after each battery change.
Caution
Prolonged exposure to open ame or heat may damage
the internal electronics. Always clean prong after
inserting into uncooked meats to assist in preventing the
spread of bacteria.
MAINTENANCE & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not place in microwave.
• Always use oven gloves when handling the hot prong to avoid accidental burns.
• Do not expose device or components to open ames or temperature exceeding
300°C (or 572°F)
• To prolong the life of your BBQ Buddy smart thermometer, clean prong with warm soapy
water and dry thoroughly.
• Do not submerge device or components in water. Not suitable for dishwashers.
• If unit does not work, check batteries rst.
