discrepancy and such failures shall not be covered by the guarantee.

• Thisapplianceisintendedtobeused

- Staff kitchen areas in shops, ofﬁces

and other working environments;

- Farm houses;

- By clients in hotels, motels and other

residential type environments;

- Bed and breakfast type environments.

• This appliance can be used by

and persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge if they have

been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance in a

safe way and understand the hazards

involved. Children shall not play with the

appliance.

not be covered by the guarantee.

instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for

theirsafety.Makesurethatchildrendonotplaywithyourappliance.

• Alwaysplugyourdevicetoagroundedsocket.Topreventharming

your appliance, do not use extension cords which supply insufﬁcient

current.

• Donotplaceyourapplianceoverorveryneartothedirectheat

sources such as oven, furnace.

• Ensurethatthewaterheaterisplacedonarmandatsurface.Do

notputitontheedgeofatableorbench.Theleastbloworknockmay

overturnit.Donotforgetthatitmaybefullofhotwater.

• Avoidactionsthatmayharmordamagethecordorplugofyour

device.Donotcarryyourappliancebyholdingfromthecord.Tounplug

the heater, hold the plug and NEVER pull by the cord.

• Neverinterferewithyourapplianceexceptforthepurposesof

cleaningandmaintenance.Donotoperateanyappliancewitha

damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been

damagedinanymanner,suchasbydroppingdown,etc.Donotattempt

to repair it by yourself, call immediately an Arzum Authorized Service.

• Theoutersurfaceofyourappliancemaybehotwhileoperating,sodo

not touch hot surfaces, always use handle or on / off button.

• Unplugfromoutletwhennotinuseandbeforecleaning.Allowitto

cool down before cleaning the appliance.

• Useyourappliancewithitsownpowerbaseunitonly.Donotplaceit

on power base which belong to the other appliances.

• Thekettlewillswitchofftheenergyautomaticallyifitisleftinoperation

while empty or while there is not sufﬁcient water in it by mistake. In this

case allow it to cool down completely before ﬁlling with water.

• Protectyourhandsfromspoutwhenthewaterisboiling,anddonot

let children to use the appliance.

• Neverswitchontheappliancewhenitslidisopen.Neveropenthelid

whilethewaterisboiling.Alwaystakecaretopourboilingwaterslowly

and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.

• Beforeoperatingthekettleensurethatthelidisttedcorrectly,

otherwise your kettle may not switch off automatically.

• Alwaysremoveyourkettlefromitspowerbase

before ﬁlling. Ensure that the water level is below

the max mark.

• Do not operate your appliance when the water

ﬁlter is not placed on the inner side of the spout.

• NEVER immerse the appliance, power base unit,

or electric plug in water or other liquids, nor wash

in a washing dish machine, nor use in bathroom or

any other places with a high rate of moisture.

• NEVER leave the power base unit and electrical connection ends of

your device in a damp state. If wetted, unplug before drying and no not

operate the appliance before having it dried completely.

• Useyourapplianceforitsintendedpurposesasrecommended.

USING YOUR KETTLE

WARNING: Do not use the kettle for any other purposes other than

boiling water. NEVER ﬁll with any other liquids or solutions.

• Beforetherstuse,washyourkettlewithcoldwateratseveraltimes,

thenllwithwateruptotheMAXwaterlevel,andthenboilthewater

until your appliance shuts of automatically. Pour out the water and wash

it with cold water. Repeat this operation for three times and then allow

your appliance to cool down.

• Openthelidofyourkettlebypushingthe

lidopeninglock.Thenllyourkettlewithwater

according to the desired amount and close the

lid.Thewaterlevelindicatorwillshowyouhow

muchwateryouhaveputinthereservoir.Take

care not spill any water to base power unit, so

ﬁll your kettle after removing from the base

unit.

• Fillthekettlewithwateralwaysbetween

the levels min. (0.5 lt) and max. (1 lt) marks.

If you try to boil water under the minimum

level, it may cause early switching off the

appliance, and if you try to boil water above

the maximum level, it may cause the water to

overﬂow.

•Unrollthecable

from the cable

winding section completely. Place the

reservoironthepowerbaseunit.Makesure

that it locates on the power base correctly;

otherwise your kettle could not be switched

on. Plug in the mains plug.

• Pressthebottomoftheon/offswitchto“I”

location and operate your appliance.

• Whenthewaterhasboiled,yourkettlewill

automatically switch off, the switch will return

to the off location and the indicator light will go

out.

• Ifyouneedtoswitchyourkettleoffbefore

the water boils, please push the on / off switch

from on location to off location.

NOTE: Ensure that your kettle has switched

off automatically, or is switched off manually

and is disconnected, before moving it from

the power base unit.

• Takeyourkettlecarefullyfromthebaseunit

and pour boiling water slowly to avoid the risk

of splashing.

CALCIFICATION REMOVAL

• Itisimportanttoeliminatethelimesand

scales which may have formed in your kettle

periodically for the hygiene and energy saving

purposes.

• Limesandscalescontainedintheused

water will form a brown layer on the heating

base, reducing the effectiveness of your

appliance.

• Lightformationoflimesandscalescanbeeasilyremovedwitha

brush (Before doing so, make sure that your kettle completely cools

down and do not forget to unplug the appliance).

• Thecalcicationremoverssoldandavailableonthemarkettouseon

household utensils as well as the vinegar can be used for removing the

collected hard scales.

• Tocleanyourkettlewithacalcicationremover:Onceyouhave

boiled some quantity of water in the kettle add the calciﬁcation remover

andmixthem.Then,boilfor2-3minutesmore,emptythekettle,and

rinse the inside of it 2-3 times repeatedly.

• Tocleanwithordinaryvinegar:Fillyourkettlewithhalfaliterof

ordinaryvinegarandwaitforonehour.Then,pourawaythevinegarand

rinse it 2-3 times repeatedly with clean water.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Before cleaning your appliance, ﬁrstly ALWAYS read the instructions

inthesection“ImportantSafeguards”.

• Beforecleaningalwaysturnoff“0”themainswitch,unplugfrom

outlet, and allow it to cool down.

• Dischargethewaterfromthekettle,andwipetheoutsideofit

thoroughly with a dry or damp cloth.

• NEVER immerse the power base unit and the kettle into water, nor

wash them in a washing dish machine.

• Avoid using abrasive and chemical cleaning agents (liquid bleach,

hydrochloric acid, etc.) excepting the special cleaners for this

appliance in cleaning any accessories of the appliance.

• Makesurethatthecordandplugsare

NEVER wet. If getting wetted, unplug from

outlet and dry both the cord and plug

thoroughly.

• Youcanwindtheplugcableofyour

appliance in the cable winding section

under the energy base unit and store after

unplugging the appliance.

Cleaning the Water Filter

• Waterlterisplacedontheinnersideofthe

spout. It holds limes, scale and foreign matters

which may be contained in the water.

• Aftereachuse,thewaterltershouldbe

held under running water, and cleaned with a

soft brush.

• Cleaningfrequencydependsuponthearea

(such as dusty) in which the kettle is used.

• In cleaning the water ﬁlter NEVER use dishwashing detergents or

special calciﬁcation removers.

1. Garanti süresi, malın teslim tarihinden itibaren başlar ve 3 yıldır.

2. Malınbütünparçalarıdahilolmaküzeretamamıgarantikapsamındadır.

TüketicininKorunmasıHakkındaKanunun11incimaddesindeyeralan;

a- Sözleşmeden dönme,

b- Satış bedelinden indirim isteme,

c- Ücretsiz onarılmasını isteme,

ç- Satılanın ayıpsız bir misli ile değiştirilmesini isteme,

haklarından birini kullanabilir.

4. Tüketicinin bu haklardan ücretsiz onarım hakkını seçmesi durumunda

satıcı;işçilikmasrafı,değiştirilenparçabedeliyadabaşkaherhangibir

adaltındahiçbirücrettalepetmeksizinmalınonarımınıyapmakveya

yaptırmaklayükümlüdür.Tüketiciücretsizonarımhakkınıüreticiveya

ithalatçıyakarşıkullananilir.Satıcı,üreticiveithalatçıtüketicininbuhakkını

kullanmasından müteselsilen sorumludur.

5. Tüketicinin,ücretsiz onarım hakkını kullanması halinde malın;

ise 30 iş gününügeçemez.Busüre,garantisüresiiçerisindemalailişkin

arızanın yetkili servis istasyonuna veya satıcıya bildirimi tarihinde, garanti

süresi dışında ise malın yetkili servis istasyonuna teslim tarihinden itibaren

başlar.Malınarızasının10 iş günüiçerisindegiderilememesihalindeüretici

veyaithalatçı;malıntamiritamamlanıncayakadar,benzerözelliklere

sahipbaşkabirmalıtüketicininkullanımınatahsisetmekzorundadır.Malın

garantisüresiiçerisindearızalanmasıdurumunda,tamirdegeçensüre

garanti süresine eklenir.

7. Malınkullanmakılavuzundayeralanhususlaraaykırıkullanılmasında

kaynaklanan arızalar garanti kapsamı dışındadır.

8. Tüketici,garantidendoğanhaklarınınkullanılmasıileilgiliolarak

çıkabilecekuyuşmazlıklardayerleşimyerininbulunduğuveyatüketici

işlemininyapıldığıyerdekiTüketiciHakemHeyetineveyaTüketici

Mahkemesinebaşvurabilir.

9. Satıcı tarafından bu Garanti Belgesinin verilmesi durumunda, tüketici

Gümrük ve Ticaret Bakanlığı Tüketicinin Korunması ve Piyasa Gözetimi

Genel Müdürlüğüne başvurabilir.
