Battery Installation :
1. Please install 2AAA batteries.
2. Please replace batteries when you see the low battery indicator.
3. Please replace your batteries within 30 seconds, otherwise all memory will be lost.
Direct Frequency Input AM/SW :
1. Select AM or SW band.
2. Press the Direct Frequency Input(AM) button (16). The LCD will display the unit indicator. Input
the frequency with the numeric buttons.
3. Press the Direct Frequency Input(AM) button again to confirm.
Examples :
1. SW 6.84MHz : Press (16) button ……Press 6-8-4-0……Press (16) button (Note : The radio
adopts 0.005MHz tuning step)
2. MW 1215KHz : Press(16) button……Press 1-2-1-5…..Press(16) button
9/10 KHz AM Tuning Step :
The 9/10 AM tuning step selector (23) is located inside the battery compartment. If the radio is working
in Asia, Europe and Australia, please select 9 KHz. If the radio is working in North America , please
select 10 KHz.
Direct Frequency Input FM :
1. Select FM band.
2. Press the Direct Frequency Input(FM) button (14). The LCD will display the unit indicator. Input
the frequency with the numeric buttons.
3. Press the Direct Frequency Input(FM) button again to confirm.
Examples :
1. FM 101.2 MHz : Press (14) button ……Press 1-0-1-2……Press (14) button
Search Stations
Manual Search :
1. Turn on the radio
2. Select the band
3. Press + (3) or -(2) until you locate the station. For each time you press, the frequency will increase
or decrease by one step.
Frequency Steps :
FM : Each time you press the button, the frequency will increase or decrease by 0.1MHz
AM : Each time you press the button, the frequency will increase or decrease by 9/10 KHz
SW : Each time you press the button, the frequency will increase or decrease by 0.005MHz
Auto Search :
1. Turn on the radio
2. Select the band
3. Long press + (3) or –(2) until it stops at the next station
4. Press + (3) /-(2) if you would like to stop the searching process
Memory Presets :
1. Use auto, manual or direct frequency input to locate the station.
2. Press the MEMORY button (17) , the LCD indicator will blink.
3. Press 1-10 within 5 seconds to select the channel. Press the Memory button (17) again to confirm.
Note : You can store up to 10 stations for each band (FM, MW, SW) , When new frequency is selected ,
the old memory will be erased.
Use of Antenna :
1. AM : The built-in magnetic antenna inside the radio is used. Rotate body to get best reception.
2. FM : Extend the antenna. Try different angles to get the best reception
3. SW : Extend the antenna. Make the antenna vertical.
Reset :
If the radio does not operate properly , use a nail to press the reset button. Please note that all the
memory will be erased.
Time setting :
Time1 Setting :
1. When batteries are is installed, the “12:00” will display.
2. Press the Clock switch (12) to select Time1 or Time2.
3. Select Time1 , then press the Time Set (17) button. Within 5 seconds , press the Hr (3) button to set
the hour and MIN (2) button to set the minute. Long press for fast moving.
4. Press the Time Set (17) button again when you have finished the time setting.
5. Under the listening mode , power off the radio to display Time1. Press the Clock switch (12) to
display Time2.
Time2 Setting :
1. Under the clock mode, press the Clock switch (12) to turn to Time2.
2. Press the Time Set (17) button. Within 5 seconds , press the Hr (3) button to set the hour and MIN
(2) button to set the minute. Long press for fast moving.
3. Press the Time Set (17) button again when you have finished the time setting.
4. Under the listening mode , power off the radio to display Time2. Press the Clock switch (12) to
display Time1.
Timer On :
1. Under Time1, press the Timer On (17) button. The “clock” icon and “12:00” will display.
2. Within 5 seconds, press the Hr (3) button to set the hour and MIN (2) button to set the minute.
Press the Timer On (17) again to confirm.
3. Upon the pre-set time, the radio will automatically turn on . You may need to follow step 1 to 3
again for a new set up.
4. To cancel the timer function , press the Timer On (17) button agian. You will see the “clock” icon
disappear.
Sleep Mode Shut Off :
1. Under the clock mode , press Sleep (8) button once to turn on the radio. The sleep icon and “90”
min will appear.
2. Within 4 seconds, press Sleep (8) button to adjust the sleep time in the following order :
90-80-70-60-50-40-30-20-10- cancel . The radio will shut off at the preset time.
3. Under listening mode, do the same of the above to set the shut down time.
4. Press the Sleep (8) again at any time to cancel the sleep function.
5. You can turn off the radio by press the Power(11) button if you would like to turn off the radio
early.
