Operational check:
• Operate the door to travel in the OPEN direction.
• Interrupt the light path of the photocell
⇒ The door should come to a halt.
If this is not the case, refer to the test instructions in the
documentation supplied with the roll-up safety device.

5.10 Menu 8: Response after activation of the external photocell
After activation of the external photocell to monitor the through-traffic area,
four responses are possible:
a) STOP, the door halts.
b) SHORT REVERSE, the door halts and then opens for the duration of
approx. 2 seconds.
c) LONG REVERSE, the door halts and then travels to its OPEN travel limit.
d) No response, no photocell is fitted.

Note:
Value 4, automatic timer without photocell, can only be selected via the

5.11 Menu 9: Response after activation of the closing edge
safety device
After activation of the closing edge safety device, three responses are possible:
a) STOP, the door halts.
b) SHORT REVERSE, the door halts and then closes to clear the obstruction -
duration approx. 2 seconds.
c) LONG REVERSE, the door halts and then opens to its OPEN travel limit to
clear the obstruction.
